The one thing every purchaser needs to know about the waist fit, because of the special 3" stretching waist band, is that it ends up running 2" too tight. I first ordered a 32 size waist because I'm that size with ALL my pants, but I had to return these Haggar cords and order a 34 size (which was a perfect fit). The 32 size was way too tight due to the stretching band (which is completely hidden inside, undetectable from the outside, so it doesn't look dumb. I wouldn't have kept it otherwise, and the inside stretchy band doesn't make the pants look bunchy or loose around the waist--it looks normal). My weight doesn't fluctuate, so I could care less about the 3" stretching band, but the price and look were perfect, so I bought it anyway, and you may do the same; just REMEMBER TO ORDER YOUR WAIST SIZE 2 INCHES WIDER THAN YOUR NORMAL SIZE (this goes for everyone: whether your weight fluctuates and you're looking to utilize the stretching band, or not--like me). Haggar messed up big time by not disseminating this major detail that will cause many returns or loss of sales for them. (Really, they shouldn't have just made them so they fit correctly on the waist--DUH.) I've spent time making this major issue known. You're welcome Haggar. Now pay me some money for my services ;)P.S. the legs are a little too baggy, and this is said by someone who likes baggy pants. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pants of the Gods *by D***D on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2016* The stretchy waistband keeps these pants snug without strangling. Stretch corduroy is a fabric probably invented on Mount Olympus. Super comfortable and very breathable. My whole lower body thanks me every time I wear them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ somewhat thin fabric *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2018* I had expected the fabric to be thicker/heavier. I have some Levi's corduroy which is much heavier than this. These are more like dress pants. But they fit fine and look nice, and it's been ages since I have been able to find dark brown corduroys, so I'm happy. I'll update this review if they fall apart.I wanted to add that the color is very much to my liking, these days I can finally find brown corduroys for sale again in retail outlets, but they are a weird orangey brown, like a tan color, that I don't like.
