The Penguins of Madagascar: Operation Antarctica

We bought a series of these videos for our kids to watch on a long plane flight after we checked a Penguins of Madagascar DVD out of the library and they fell in love. We also let them watch them on the long drive to and from the cemetery for a recent family funeral, which really helped them maintain patience with what was an extremely long day for them. They are so enamored of these videos that they would watch them endlessly if we allowed it. We've had to watch them ourselves about 100 times now and although any video gets old with that much repetition, these are far more tolerable to watch over and over again than most of the children's videos we've tried.

It was a great dvd excellent condition and great price too. Great company.

Good grief- does it get any better than this? Ever? I dont think so. These shows will live on for centuries I bet.

Nickelodeon doesn't seem to be broadcasting Penguins of Madagascar episodes any longer, and they're not available on Verizon Fios On-Demand, so I purchased all 8 available Penguins DVDs. This one is excellent, and so are the other seven. The total running time is 88 minutes, and the episodes include: Operation: Antarctica; The Falcon & The Snow Job; Penguiner Takes All; Roger Dodger; Snakehead!; Concrete Jungle Survival; and Work Order.

The special, Operation Antarctica, is 22 minutes long instead of the usual 11 minutes. The other episodes on the disc are also above average in quality. Of all the DVD releases, this is probably the best one for the Penguins of Madagascar.

I think this movie was funny and entertaining. I felt the price was very reasonable for the amount of episodes that came on the disc. A must buy for your family!

We love the penguins. This video has some great shows like snakehead and the bus from graveyard 8. Lots of laughs as usual with their tongue in cheek humor.

We love the Penguins of Madagascar in our household and quickly snap up any new DVDs that come up. I have to admit, however, operation Antarctica just did not grab me as previous DVD compilations (i.e. I was a penguin zombie!, New to the Zoo, Operation DVD). The characters were still funny, but I felt that the stories picked for the compilation were not as strong as in previous offerings. We've watched the other movies many times over, but Antarctica only once or twice.

How not to love those super cute and witty penguins. They never disappoint us. You can watch them again and again. My son just love them and now we have collection of them all.

Once again the creators of this cartoon series make another classic! Who cares if the kids like it or not?! I'm a 39yr old Dad and I think it's hilarious! We all watch an episode before lights-out and we're all always laughing.What a great way to end the day and head of to dreamland!We've got most of the DVDs in the collection and I'd thoroughly recommend them to any parent and of course to youngsters too! ...even if they don't get the Mort character like grown-ups do! ...."I love the feeeet"!!! Superb!

Brilliant dvd. Bought for 2 boys aged 4 & 6. They love it and have played it repeatedly. Normally, this would become tedious for me and their daddy but even we haven't tired of it.

Loved the penguins in the film Madagascar now I can watch them anytime I like. Penguins try to help a seal pup get home.
