The tutu has an elastic waist but the top is more of a snug fit. We all varied in sizes so everyone felt differently about sizing and the fit.I'm pear shape so the top fit well for me but the skirt was hiked higher than I would have preferred. Good price for what you get but the shirt had a fishy smell from the bag it was in. The other items smelled ok. I have washed it 3 times already and I think it may be wearable now. It was a strong odor. No other items smelled but they had different bags.
