I absolutely love journaling in these every night. The fact that they lie completely flat is the biggest draw for me. They have thick and sturdy pages that will not allow ink to bleed through. I use gel pens that are very dark and have had no issues with seeing any writing show through. The feel of the cover is smooth and I use acrylic paint paints to decorate mine so that they are unique to me. Great value for the money.
