Simple way to keep a fire extinguisher nearby in a car
Extra points for the Badass product name. The install photos are printed dark; would have been better to increase brightness and contrast, however, the Amazon product description online shows the product installed clearly and in color. The instructions also speak to a Jeep install, but the online description indicates it is more generic. Truth be told it will probably work in just about any vehicle, but must be careful to not loop a bottom strap through something that might pull on a wire. Turns out there a number of wires under both front seats. I no longer have a Jeep so don't have the steel cross bars mentioned in the install instructions. I did find a couple of spring supports that did not have other wires crossing. The fire extinguisher sits tall, taut and snug against the rear seat. Mine is behind the passenger seat as it allows me to grab it without difficulty or getting out of the vehicle. However, it could just as easily install behind the driver's seat.Easy way to keep an extinguisher handy instead of searching the floorboards or running to the trunk when seconds count.

works as descrribed
I keep a fire extinguisher in my classic car. this is way better than mounting and drilling holes.

Functional, but not OK with a passenger facing the extinguisher
Does hang the extinguisher as intended. But the child in the vendors photo would strike the extinguisher in a head on collision.

A nice fire extinguisher holder, but only works on 2 post headrests.
I made the mistake of not noticing, that there is no option for attaching this fire extinguisher holder to a headrest that uses a single post, so I was unable to use this in the vehicle I intended to use it in. This FE holder found it's way into my other vehicle, where I had no problems with it, and it mounted easily. The build quality is pretty good, and I'm happy with this fire extinguisher holder, except for the lack of a single post headrest option.

Be sure your canister is the right size
We needed to buy a new canister to fit. Needs to be thinner than not.

Hanging on the seat
I actually had an electrical fire in my truck a couple years ago and I didn’t have an extinguisher on me. Luckily I was in a town and the fire dept. was nearby. I knew that I had to get an extinguisher for the truck. But how would in mount it? This harness is awesome. If this holder wasn’t around, my extinguisher would still be rolling around in the cab. I have it hanging on the back of the passenger seat now.
