My hair was box dyed brown (but appeared black) and after ColorOops didn’t budge it, I turned to bleach so I could correct to a lighter shade. Keep in mind, it lifted the dark color much quicker than I anticipated. I went from a level 3 to a level 9 in about 12 minutes, even at the diluted ratio. So the “extra strength” is legit. 😂 There was minimal damage to my hair. Just make sure to keep a close watch on how quickly it’s lifting. I had expected it to take much longer, since years ago it took a good 50 minutes to get my hair the same level of lift.
