Synopsis DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS...Every movie and TV star has one. So does every agent and manager. Some producers and studio execs have two or even three. I'm talking about an assistant. Someone to answer your phones, pick up your dry cleaning. Someone to hide your drugs. Your assistant knows what you eat, who you're sleeping with and what medications you're taking. They listen in on your phone calls. They are the eyes and ears of Hollywood...and occasionally they talk. Culled from dozens of interviews with former and current Hollywood assistants, Where's My F*cking Latte is a no-holds barred insider's look at what really goes on behind Tinseltown's closed doors. About the Author ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff is a bestselling and award-winning author living in Los Angeles who has been known to occasionally moonlight as a TV host, voice-over artist and rock journalist. A professional composer of music for television for many years, opportunity knocked and transformed him into a screen/TV writer and author featured on “Access Hollywood.” Then a podcast recorded in his car became a weeknightly drive-time radio show on Sirius Sateillite Radio. This led to a handsome feature in Playboy Magazine that compared Mark to Howard Stern and Jon Stewart.

Not my cup of latte
Thought this book would be full of interesting gossip, but there's no named celebrities which would make the info more tittilating. In fact the whole book could be written without knowing any celebrities. However, the author claims to have worked with big stars, so I guess some of them must have been well known, but the reader will never know who they are. I also got confused with the gender of the writer. My brain tells me that Mark is a man's name, but the style seems to be very feminine. I can't recommend this book, there are others in this genre which are much better.

Laugh out loud and sad
This book goes into that special category in my life called "books I have laughed out loud at". I would recommend this book for that alone. But behind all this is shock that these immature sociopaths are creating world entertainment and might be why so much of it is not very good. This is a great read and absolutely recommended.

This book is a complete scam, badly written, supposedly about real Hollywood people (Identity hidden in every case .)these so called stories could have been written about any boss anywhere but the hook is Hollywood and its nothing to do with that''village''

complete nonsense
I have no idea why this is touted as a book of funny anecdotes. I could have asked my 11 year old to come up with better. I would have returned it if it was possible.

Great price for something to have on my iPad when I was bored.....It is funny and really resonates with me as an assistant (although workiing in insurance is much less glamorous!!)Not a classic but definately worth a read!

A very good read
An interesting and informative gossipy view of life on the inside of Hollywood. This is not National Enquirer stuff but insights from the 'little people'.
