Excellent Choice! (And reasonably priced)
I recently decided to replace the stock cables that came with my SE 535s. I bought all three available cables from Shure to compare them. These simple cables are well made and sound fantastic.I tried:Shure RMCE-BT2 High-Resolution Bluetooth 5.0 Communication Cable$149Shure RMCE-UNI Universal Communication Cable for Detachable SE Sound Isolating Earphones.$29Shure EAC46BKS 46-Inch Black Detachable Earphone Cable$35The EAC 46BKS cable does not have an inline mic/volume control. and it doesn’t sound any better than the RMCE.The RMCE is cheaper, sounds just as good and is more functional. The clear winner. The RMCE BT2 is wireless which is great. But the sound is not quite the same. The sound personality or signature is similar to the wired option but as you might expect, the high end and low end of the dynamic range is less present. The overall sound is pleasing and balanced but the upper transients and the lower thump of the bass is quieted. Also the sensitivity of the drivers is decreased, At maximum volume, the sound level for loud critical listening is achieved. With the wired connection, you cant turn it up beyond 3/4 without it becoming painful. When walking around with the wireless set up the playback volume is more than sufficient. There is a nice clean presentation of the sound overall.Having both options is great, depending on the circumstance. The wireless option is excellent if I don’t want a cord in the way. But when you want maximum playback dynamics you can choose the wired solution.Yes, it’s luxurious to own both, but so is owning the se535s. :)Im extremely happy with the two options. I highly recommend them both.

High quality cable, a little short, but works with Androids.
Finally, a Shure headset cable that all three buttons work with an Android. I have purchased several cables, even some touted to work on both iPhones and Androids but always had trouble getting them to work on my droid.Pros:- Easily switched between Android and iPhone- The cables are high quality and do not appear that they will wear out easily. The coating on the wire is thick and should not wear out easily.- Attachment points to your headphones are reinforced and like the stock cable that came with my 215's are shapeable so that they are comfortable for extended wearing.- Attachment points click in solidly. Some off brand cables attach a little loose. I have no fear of these disconnecting on me.Cons:- Cable is shorter than the stock cable and the other headset cable that Shure makes.- Headphone plug is straight vice the 45 or 90 degree bend that other cables have. Not a deal-breaker, but I prefer having some sort of bend. All in all a very good quality cable. I have had no issues at all with this cable and after a few weeks use am used to all of the cons mentioned above.

Finally! a solution to my problem!
I love my SE215. It was a pain to always unplug them from my phone when I get a call or take my phone out during any activity to change songs or raise/lower the volume. This cable really solved all that and it works as described (so far).It is shorter than the original cable, which is fine for me, but the cable is not as thick or high quality as the original, but sound quality is the same, buttons work perfectly with my Android phone, mic sounds fine. Great product.

Finally Shure has made a replaceable 3-button cable for both Android and iOS
I have been buying 1-button CBL-M-K cables for my Shure earbuds for years because they were the only ones with an Android compatible button. Finally, Shure has made a replacement cable that also has volume buttons that work with Android devices!Important features that aren't clear from the product description:· The switch on the controller flips it between Android and iOS modes. I use both. It works as advertised.· The cable is 50 inches long. This is 8 inches shorter than the CBL-M-K cables. I prefer this. I found the other cables to be a little too long.· It has stiff segments near where the earbuds attach so that you can adjust these to fit over your ears and stay in place. Once you get them adjusted, they stay on much better than prior models. So far the over-ear wires are comfortable.· Initially the controller looked huge to me because its not tapered in design like the 1-button CBL-M-K controller. It is in fact smaller, see photo.· A sliding clasp (see photo) gathers the left and right wires together nicely.· The tactile design of the buttons makes them easy to find and use.· Shure will replace them for two years if they stop working. I have used their warranty service for cables many times over the years and its great. Visit their website, go to Support, Service and Repair, and follow the instructions.
