I absolutely love these candles holders, they come as a set of two with tea lights. The look fabulous night and day. A lovely addition to any home.

I've been putting off this review for a long time as I simply don't know what to say.The item is exactly as it looks, but that's the thing... it's quite basic, there isn't anything noteworthy about this that stands out, for better or for worse.The RRP is listed as £14 but I honestly don't think each one is worth £7, I hate to be critical about an object that does exactly what you'd expect it to but... £14? Recycled plywood or not it's a fair bit.

We loved these candle holders, they're made of plywood and they've got that look of being laser cut. Being made of plywood though I'll say right up front I'd advise only using them with battery powered tea lights unless you can find some glasses that fit inside them as I think using real tea lights would increase the risk of fire.The candle holders are well made from recycled plywood which is a plus in my books. When using them with candles they do look pretty and in darker rooms do cast lovely patterns. We've only used them indoors at the moment - but we will be using the outside in the garden when the weather improves. The holders do include normal candles which is great if you are giving them as a gift.As I'm writing this review they £10 which is very good value for something quite unique.

The media could not be loaded. The holders are in themselves not unattractive. I would recommend that they are used with battery powered tea-lights and definitely not real naked flame candles. They will make a pleasant addition to festive decorations.What I didnt like so much-----------------------------* On opening I immediately noticed a Slight Chemical smell.* Also the wooden material from which they are made suggests they are unsuitable for use with real candles.Overall, I am not sure that I would recommend the holders, but on the other hand I don't feel inclined to return them either.

So safety warning first, these are made of wood so certainly do advise you exercise extra care when using to ensure safe enjoyment, never leave unattended, just like you shouldn’t leave any naked candle unattended. Things can happen and naked flames are not to be underestimated regardless of the holder material.Despite only being burnt edge plywood, the design and build of these show quite a lot of understated style while providing a nice relaxing glow from the sides and from the top. Coming with two tea light candles you ready to enjoy straight out of the box and despite using for a few hours, the wood base only had a small amount of heat when the tea light was removed, as above though, exercise caution with anything that has a naked flame.With the rustic design they will fit into most environments with ease and are effective for a candlelit soak in the bath.

When I saw these on the product page they looked like laser cut plywood and I thought I would have to assemble them myself, but the box arrived and they are fully assembled and come with 2 tea lights so are ready to go out of the box.I chose these because of the design which I think is great, they do not look like your conventional tea light holders and will go perfect with where I want to put them. Also, they are made by a small business which I like to support.My one concern is that these are made of wood, although the actual flame is well away from holder, I would not like to leave them unattended, just in case a child or animal knocks them onto their side. I plan to use LED tea lights so that will not be an issue for me.All in all, I think these are great looking tea light holders, I am very pleased with them. I also think they would make a great gift.I have removed one star just because of my one concern.I hope you found this review helpful.

I think these candle holders are very nice and they leave a really beautiful pattern from the glow of the candles, however, they're made of very thin wood and to be frank, I don't think they're the safest thing to have with actual candles and a live flame! They do come with two tealight candles as well. In my case, I used some battery powered tea lights which are far safer and with those, these holders are fantastic! I am just not convinced about using a flame so close to the wood.If you're going to be in the room with them and the surrounding area is clear then I guess it's okay but it still makes me somewhat uncomfortable and I would NOT leave these unsupervised but if you can use some battery powered ones then I can absolutely recommend them.At £14.99 the price is on the upper limit to what I'd want to pay but still just about reasonable. They're very pretty and well made, but again, they're wood, next to an open flame so I'll leave the rest for you to decide.
