perfectly blended spices, with zesty kick and a tingling heat
This kit includes all the seasonings one would need to rustle up a scrumptious meal. I particularly like that it doesn't rely on any artificial flavour enhancers, but instead, it is brimming with the natural, delicious goodness of well-blended spices. The sauce has a unique twist, thanks to the Sichuan pepper, which adds a citrusy kick and a tingling heat to the dish. When you combine the spice blend and the sauce from two separate sachets, the result is an incredibly aromatic flavour that feels fresh, striking a harmonious balance between sour, bitter, and zesty with a touch of lemony sweetness. As for the noodles, they're quite different from the usual ones I find in the supermarket. These noodles are neither cracked nor brittle and carry a subtle, natural wheaty aroma. When you cook them, they maintain their shape and structure without becoming gooey or stodgy. The texture is just right for an enjoyable mouthfeel โ not too chewy, and they don't stick to your teeth. To sum it all up, this noodle kit delivers a good-quality meal. I would definitely recommend it for its delightful flavours and the ease of cooking it brings to the table.

Flavourfull noodles
It was my first time ordering and rtying ung Fu Mama Spicy Noodles with Szechuan Pepper - Taiwanese Sun-Dried Hot Noodles. It was nice to see that the packaging is also completely recycled and plastic free, the outer wrapper is not plastic but it says its made of wood pulp. I have not seen this before. The downside is that it doesn't last well and had some holes in when I get it and the more you move it around the more it comes apart. I found that 1 block of the noodles was plenty for lunch for 1 and the sachets were then the right size. I think if you did all 3 at once it would feed 4 easily. The Szechuan pepper is nice, it has a little kick to it, i don't really get much of the sundried tomato flavour. I cooked mine and had it with some meat, it made a nice lunch. The noodles do expand so dont think that the small block of noodles is too small and over do it!

I don't like these at all
I'm a huge fan of Asian food. It's what I eat almost every day. So I was excited when I saw these noodles. I'm normally a bit suspicious of western brands because they normally are not good. In fact, I have yet to try one that is. If I want some yummy noodles I normally order them online or get them from the local Asian supermarket. So I was part sceptical and part excited to try them. I don't like the taste and texture of the noodles themselves. I find them clammy. I followed the instructions but they came out a little soft for my liking. I just don't like them. This might be a personal thing though and you might enjoy them. However, was I would find hard to believe is the taste of the sauce. It is not good. The noodles are described as Szechuan Pepper and it is. You get that tingly numbing sensation that is particular to this pepper. The problem is that is ALL you get. Nothing else. Well, that's not entirely true. There is a very sublet other flavour. I don't know what it is but it's unpleasant an chemically. I wanted to like these, I was hoping they were going to be good but I just found everything from the mouth feel to the flavour of these to be poor. I actually ended up throwing them in the bin because I found them so unpleasant.
