This was such a generous lot of candy for Halloween treat bags, and there was so much Skittles! Sure, I do think the Skittles overpowered the Lifesavers and Starbursts by a whole lot but having fun-sized individual Skittles bags and a ton of them was pretty awesome. I like to go above and beyond for Halloween by creating treat bags filled with tons of candy, chocolate and toys. I am projecting 20+ treat bags for the neighborhood kids and ended up almost having enough by adding about 3-4 bags of Skittles in each.

I got this to split into party favor bags. I guess I made the mistake not realizing the Lifesavers are just solo pieces and count towards the 135 count. From my bag I got 53 Skittles, 34 Starbursts and the rest were solo Lifesavers. I just managed to get 1 skittle with either a starburst or 2 Lifesavers into each of my party favors. Some of the skittle packets were sealed very close to the edge and looked at risked of popping open which I didn't like. One of the Starbursts was already opened and MANY of the Lifesavers were cracked in half or some even smashed to pieces. So if you need exact amounts, this might not work. If you just need a large amount of candy then this is fine.

Fan favorite in my office. Value for money and everyone who visits my office always steals these. Amazing.

I like a variety in my candy to nibble on, and I get tired of chocolate all the time. This was a nice treat. I wish they weren’t so expensive.
