GOOD
I absolutely love this overnight heatless hair curler. It’s such a great way to style your hair without using any heat, which helps keep my hair healthy. The foam is very soft and comfortable to sleep with. I just wrap my hair around it before going to bed and leave it overnight. In the morning, my hair comes out with beautiful, natural-looking curls that last for hours. It’s also very easy to use and saves me so much time getting ready in the morning. Instead of using a curling iron, I wake up with my hair already styled. If you’re looking for a heatless way to get gorgeous curls, I definitely recommend this. It works amazingly well!

I finally have curls!!
I am RUNNING back here to review this because I *finally* have curls in my hair and they didn’t fall out after 10 minutes! I’d been hesitant to try this one because I had already tried a different brand a few years ago, that was way less comfy and just didn’t really work. But for 10 bucks, I thought I might as well see if this one was different. For reference, my hair is fine, almost totally straight, LONG, and there’s a LOT of it. Way more expensive stylers (looking at you, airwrap) have been unable to curl my hair for longer than an hour tops, so I was at my wit’s end. I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy this one was to use and how comfy it is. The material is velvety, so it’s grippy to my hair, and the part you wrap your hair around is not overly big in diameter - it’s very squishy and flexible (which is one of the things I love about it). I was able to sleep with it in with only a little bit of a “weird” feeling on my head, but it didn’t keep me up later or prevent me from laying how I usually do. Totally doable! Especially since I now know that the resulting curls will stay! The process I used for my hair (about a day from the previous wash) was this: 1. dry shampoo the roots (my hair gets oily fast and I wanted some texture). 2. I then spritzed my hair (mids and ends) so it was damp but not at all soaked and at the same time I added a thermal memory spray, also onto the mids and ends. 3. I split my hair into two sections, L and R, clipped the hair wrap thing at the middle of my head, and began to wrap the hair, adding a new section of hair every time I wrapped around (I tried both ways, alternating directions per hair section and going the same direction with every new piece of hair I picked up. I liked the results from both methods, but ended up redoing one side so it all went one direction to match the look of the other side). Depending on how fast your hair dries, you might have to re-spray some water on the last side you work on to ensure it’s still a little damp. 4. Once it was wrapped, I sprayed with a little more of the thermal memory spray and then I used a blow dryer for about five minutes or so. Then I sprayed lightly with a normal hairspray. A couple hours later, before I went to sleep, I hit it with the blow dryer for another few minutes, let it cool, and put the sleep cap on. 5. In the morning (about 12 hours of time in the wrap - I probably could have achieved it with less time, but wanted to be sure to do everything I could to make the curls last as long as possible), I took the hair down and brushed it out. It’s so pretty, and really easy compared to curling every piece of hair with a curling iron or styler tool. It’s seriously the best result I’ve gotten from anything. I did have a little bit of relaxing in the curls, but they were still fully there hours later. I like the clip it comes with, because it feels sturdy without yanking my hair. I didn’t realize when I bought it but also came with a spray bottle for water, a bag for storage, and an additional pair of ponytail holders (aside from the scrunchies that it also came with). Completely recommend this. I have never been able to hold curl in my hair for any amount of time except for when I used foam rollers for dance recitals as a kid. 😅 This is a game changer!

Worth it! Protects and beautifies hair -- I'm in!
I generally have very straight hair. It has a slight wave to it when it's freshly washed, but as soon as I run a wide-tooth comb through it, it's straight and it stays that way. If I use heat to curl my hair, it lasts for about an hour. I want the luscious curls that so many of my colleagues have! Since my hair is a little longer than shoulder length, I decided to try this heatless curler. What they say is true -- it will take practice to get it exactly right. Definitely watch the video for help. However, it really is simple to do. The instructions were very clear with the exception of saying whether or not to remove the clip at the top of your head after tying up the rest of your hair. I removed it, because clips on my head bug me at night, but maybe I should have left it in. I was nervous about sleeping with the extra lump around my head, but I was actually able to sleep peacefully. The cap slipped around a little, but it stayed over my hair. My hair was full and bouncy with curls that resisted collapsing the way heat-styled curls do with my hair. I'm looking forward to continuing to practice on this. I think this will also support me in growing my hair back to its former length, because now I don't need heat to produce the volume or curls that I want in my hair! I won't have to have as much damage trimmed off when I go in. The silky texture of the cap is good for keeping hair soft and smooth. I like the color options that are available. I think they could enhance their options by adding black.

Does the job. Great set!
Really great quality for the cost. Easy to use, and not to bad to sleep in. The curls are smooth and such a nice change to using heated tools. Loved it some much I bought a second pair for my daughter.

Quality is amazing especially for beginners.
This product is exactly what I was looking for .My old heat less curling rod was made from styrofoam and don’t get me wrong it worked but it was very uncomfortable to sleep in and was damaging the end of my hair due to the rod bending when I would tie it down. Also I noticed with this product I was not getting my hair pulled from the front which I worried about tension alopecia. My curls lasted all day I love doing this for work because it makes it quick and easy to get ready. The only thing I will say it gonna take me some time to get used to the string that at the end of the rod. Cause putting a hair tie in is kindove difficult. But rather than that it amazing 🤩.

kinda missed here
It's not terrible, but it's not awesome. For me, the band itself is too collapsible and found it hard to get a loose but secure hold when wrapping. The accessories are nice, that's why I hold on 3 stars, but I tried this over the course of a week and it really just didn't hit. Every way I tried to wrap it it just never felt secure. I tried really hard to get it secure enough to get that loose but will survive a sleep treatment but it just never worked. Might just be me or my hair, but wasn't for me at all.

I was uncertain when I ordered this product as to how well it would work on my impossible to curl straight, fine hair, medium length hair. After reading a lot of reviews on many similar products I decided to try this one. I can report that It is quick and easy to do, does not take any skill, is not terribly uncomfortable to sleep in, and holds the curl through the day. The secret to apply leave in condition to my wet clean hair and dry it to 90%, then wrap the hair around the curling rod (there are many You Tube videos you can watch on how to do this) and go to bed. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes and when I wake in the morning I have amazing curls that last all day long without adding anymore product. It truly is amazing! Just to paint an accurate picture of the contrast between this method and that of using a curling iron on my hair, I must drench my hair in a ton of product to use a curling iron and then top with a ton of hairspray just to get the curls to stay in for a few hours - so this no heat method really does work well.

I really love this! I have very, very thick hair and curling it with a wand takes super long. Like 3 hrs long. I’m not good with hair at all, except for putting my hair up lol which doesn’t help. With this product I realized the best way to get curls with super thick hair is to shower first and wash my hair. The spray bottle doesn’t work very well for me, so getting my hair completely wet is the best way to use this product for thick hair. Then to get better curls I do a French braid with the ribbon strings. Side note: if you don’t know how to do a French braid that’s okay, just braid it like you would making a bracelet for a craft. Basically the same thing if you ask me… Overall I recommend giving it a go and keep trying it, my first two try’s were okay. But wet hair plus French braiding my hair with the ribbon part works the best! Now I can finally have curly hair without standing in the bathroom for 3 hrs with messy curls. Now it only takes 10 minutes or less. The only downside is sleeping with it in, not as comfortable but once you fall asleep you’re good lol. But totally worth it as the curls last all day with hairspray and beautifully turn into curly wavy hair the next few days.
