**Q: Does this help in protecting your arms from thorny plants? My mom’s trimming bongavilla**
A: seems to help. not thorn proof.  I use w my roses

**Q: Are the sleeves , latex free?**
A: There is no label on the sleeves describing the fabric content. They are made out of a stretchy spandex fabric similar to what one would find in a women's bathing suit. I hope this helps.

**Q: Are these sleeves puncture proof?**
A: No they are not puncture proof, however they do protect from scratches and light cuts one might normally get from gardening.

The arm sleeves are very thin material.  I cannot see how they can protect from thorns etc.
