My husband hung this behind one of our ceiling beams in the family room. It adds such a warm ambiance. I love when night falls and the lights our on low. You can have the lights all the way up, in-between or low like we have. You'll be extremely pleased with the effect it adds to the room.

Purchased light strip as a bundle with Goover power supply (PWR-G12V-080-66-U-D-J). The light is controlled by a Lutron dimmer switch (DVCL-153PR) purchased at Home Depot. Wiring was done exactly as described for TRIAC dimming in the user guide for the power supply. The light will be placed within an aluminum channel for LED strip lights near the ceiling (to highlight a slat wall).At the time of purchase, I was uncertain on the compatibility of the power supply and dimmer switch. Compatibility was confirmed later by Goover's customer service, and I confirmed compatibility after installation. I'm able to dim the lights over a wide range without flicker. I'm very pleased by the brightness and color of the light and that I can dim them over a wide range.Goover's customer service and technical support was outstanding. I contacted Goover via email ([email protected]) as I had an issue with getting the lights to work. They were very responsive to my emails and were committed to solving the problem and replacing any defective component. The initial problem stemmed from a wire coming out of the power supply (V-) that broke off and disconnected from the low voltage wire/LED strip light (I probably damaged the wire while stripping). This was revealed only after taking off all wire nuts. I greatly appreciated their technical support staff helping me with troubleshooting!

Install and modification to these led strip lights was easy. By utilizing the jumper wire connection include in the package and the end wire pigtail I was able to create various lengths as needed.I installed these led lights into a track system which had a cover lens to help distribute the light uniformly and allowed for the led adhesive backing to secure.Connected the LED lights to landscape low voltage wiring which was powered by a 12V DC power supply with dusk/dawn capabilities.Overall really pleased with the outcome. Great output of lighting, uniform and quality. Hope it last for a couple years.

Worked well to put in our bathroom as under cabinet lights.

My favorite part about these LEDs is that they look more like a glow strip rather than individually placed LEDs on a wire strip. They were super easy to install and have a TouchPad sensor with a sticky backing so you can adhere it to an easy to reach spot to turn the LEDs off/on. Also, holding your hand on the TouchPad will dim/brighten the LEDs.Yes you can add an extension to these, but I did not. You can also plug these into any regular house outlet in the US.

Goover is well known for their LED lighting in office spaces and although these are not RGB LED, the warm yet bright light setting is perfect for lighting up any room to make it feel cozy. It can be placed around a room wall, desk, behind monitors or underneath cabinets. I also like how there is an attachment piece that allows you to bend the light strip around sharp corners so that it adheres better on surfaces.These are as described in the listing and everything came in a compact box with instructions. Nothing extra or complicated!

I feel like I just recently got some strip lights (the ones with individual bulbs) and these just one upped them in a major way. These are way brighter than all those, I guess first gen, strip lights. They provide a uniform light across the entire length of the strip light. It also comes with a remote. The remote has on, off, and dimmer settings. There seems to be far more buttons than needed. But that's fine.Worthwhile noting, in some scenes the video shows strip lights that appear to be individual bulbs, including the one the lady is holding at one point. These lights look nothing like that. This strip light is like a rope of light.

The media could not be loaded. If you've wanted to add warm white accent lights to your house, but have never done anything like this before, this kit is the place to start. It has all the components you need, including the option of using a remote control to set the light level.Unlike some "starter" kits I've seen, the remote is totally optional. If you want to use the remote, simply plug the receiver in between the LEDs and the power supply (inline). If you don't want to use the remote, leave the receiver disconnected and plug the lights directly into the power supply. For instance, if you have a wall switch that controls an outlet directly, you'd likely leave the receiver remote disconnected.You can trim this LED strip about every inch to exactly fit the space. If you need to do a sharp bend around a corner, you can either solder jumper wires between a segment cut, or you can buy special purpose solderless connectors (search Amazon for "8mm COB LED connector") to navigate sharp corners, gentle curves, or any other geometry.After your first LED strip install you may a have leftover section of LED strip. Simply buy another 12v power supply and connect it to the remnant!
