Lavashak Sour Cherry Fruit Leather Authentic Persian Style Sour and Salty Fruit Layer 6 OZ - 168g

I used sticky for lavashak it was so good 10/10 would purchase again. It was easy to unwrap and cut up.

So tasty! It's tangy and definitely sour. Shared with my SO and we ate about 3/4 of one sheet (it comes with two). If I was eating it solo it totally seems worth the price. Will definitely buy again.

There was one entire side of the plastic package unsealed leaving the food open to the air and other hazards. Not sure if it is ok to even consume. Disappointed.

So yummy! One side of the plastic coating is easy to get off the other side of the plastic coating is not that easy to get off. Texture quality and value for the money is right on point yet sweet and delicious.

I decided to give this a try because I like cherries, I like fruit leather, and I'm always willing to try new things. Unfortunately, this just isn't for me. The texture is good, and I may have liked it if it were just fruit purée, but the salt really kills it for me. Maybe this would be a good snack for hiking or other activities where you want to replenish electrolytes, but I just don't think the flavors of salt and cherry work well together.

Definitely is sour and delish

I received two full sheets of fruit leather and two smaller ones that were about a quarter in size of the larger ones. Each individual sheet of fruit leather is wrapped in a thin plastic film you peel off prior to eating. I do like that this keeps the sheets from sticking to each-other, as once you peel that film off and get ready to eat your fingers will doubtlessly be getting at least a little sticky. As soon as I opened the package I noticed the sour cherry scent, which upon tasting remained the dominant flavor. This leather is made of only four simple ingredients, apple puree, sour cherries, salt, and citric acid. I wish the salt was a little less noticeable than it was, but it only affected the taste mildly. I mostly noticed the apples and cherry. The taste is certainly fresh and mine doesn't expire until October 2026! It's good and if you like sour foods this might be something you would enjoy. I don't have sour things too often so it made me scrunch my face up a little bit sometimes. Overall quite good, I just wish there was a tad less salt, it contains 200 mg or 9% per the nutrition facts.
