Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Carry-On Luggage Spinner, Black, 21-Inch

Move over Samsonite! Travelpro is now the champion of lightweight and quality luggage! Since the 1970’s, we’ve always opted for Samsonite for their quality and durability. However, my old large sized Samsonite which is still in excellent condition, has become way too heavy for me. Did my research, found this Travelpro and so glad I did! I bought the medium one which is plenty roomy for extended trips (I’ll use my small Samsonite for short overnight trips). I can literally lift my new Travelpro with one finger! It’s that light! The wheels roll and swivel easily and the handles are padded for comfort. It has your standard zipper pockets on the inside and out and the zippers appear high quality and glide smoothly. Don’t waste your money on any others if you want the most lightweight suitcase that looks nice and is high quality. You can’t beat the price either. Lightweight Samsonites cost over $400!!! Who would pay that much for luggage! Can’t wait to take my next trip with my new Travelpro!!

I am a TravelPro loyalist who normally flys carry on only (Crew 10 20" and Maxlite 4 22"). I have a Maxlite 4 26in for those times when a check in is a must. My SO has more....lets say "expansive" needs. This is a MASSIVE bag. Im not kidding at all, you cold put a 2 grader in there and still have room for a weeks worth of clothing. At the same time it is light as a feather. According to TravelPro it weighs less than a pound more than the 26" version with just two wheels. It feels lighter. I am a hardcore "two wheels is better than 4" person but this spinner is making me question my decisions. Its incredibly easy to move even at max load. We will put the durability to the test this summer with an overseas vacation but Im not worried. My Maxlite 4 26in has taken tons of abuse for the last 7 years and its fine. My crew 10 has taken more abuse for almost a decade and is even better. Apparently purple/lavender is not a popular color because I got this on a really good sale. Jokes on them. Not only do I love the color but its super easy to find at the baggage area. I really cant say enough good things about this bag. If you need space, get one.

Great luggage! We bought it for our son's trip the a summer camp. It is really light and easy to carry. Great purchase! I recommend!

I take forever deciding on purchases and this was no exception. I comb through tons of Amazon reviews and then bring up assorted reviews through internet searches. I get overwhelmed and have to take breaks to clear my head. So when I finally decided on this one it was a huge relief. I loved its appearance pulling it out of its box. It’s light enough for a disabled person to lift. The wheels are fantastic. They are so smooth and the bag moves with a push of a finger. I liked how the compartments were divided and the zippered top. The problem came when I packed it full and then had trouble with the zipper rounding the top corner. Yes, the bag was full, but the other side didn’t have the same problem. I had no choice but to take the bag with me, and I hoped this was a one time event. I chose this because I dislike checking a bag if I can get everything in a carryon. So I was carrying it through the security checkpoint and was shocked to see two bins down the exact purple bag! What are the odds, I wondered. I thought this would be a fairly rare suitcase. Boy was I wrong! If I hadn’t gone the extra mile and placed bright yellow luggage tags on my purple bag I could have had a luggage mixup on my maiden voyage! I thoroughly enjoyed how easy this was to navigate through the airport and up to the Airbnb I was staying at. But both times I unpacked and repacked had the same problem with the zipper at the same corner. I ended up returning it. I didn’t feel good about a problem zipper from the start. I was very disappointed.

Good 3rd party fulfillment. On time delivery. Good suitcase to replace my medium travelpro that finally fell apart after 16 years. The 360 wheelies rode smoothly. The storage capacity fit as much as the previous suitcase storage. Didn't appear to get any damage on this trip, so it's been durable so far. Price point is reasonable for the brand and size. Good color. Solid checked bag model for longer trips. Happy with this bag at this time.

So lightweight, glides like a charm, handle is ergonomic, color is beautiful, fabric is strong yet looks good, zippers work great, and my other suitcases are about to be donated. Got this on Amazon Days price so it was comparable to or less than the other suitcase prices.

Well designed. Well constructed. Lightweight but sturdy. Was a bit concerned how durable the wheels would be, but they work great both upright on flat surfaces and tilted for pulling across uneven ground. Very satisfied and recommended.

Perfect for international travel because they weigh your carryon. It has an expander super if you want to fill it more. I’ve used it on ten flights, both domestic international travel, and.it is holding up well.

It's a great carry-on luggage that will last a long time. Pros: -It's very light -Inside compartments makes organizing easier -On the smaller side of carry-on so it will never fail the carry-on size test -Looks very nice and can be used for business and vacation travels -Got beat up a few times - saw airport baggage workers throwing stuff around for transport lol. It still looks brand new Cons: -The wheels, while work well enough, feel somewhat cheap?? -If you travel more than 4 days at a time, the size 20 isn't for you - it will not have enough space for your stuff
