I have been using those curly telephone wire type hair ties for a few years. The reason I started using them is that I hate it when the hairband around my wrist gets wet when I wash my hands, because it then stays wet for ages and can make my skin sore and rashy.These hair ties are nice and smooth, not snagging the hair, but they have a good grip and when twisted 3 times they definitely stay in place. They are much grippier than the big hair scrunchies. The product description is a bit vague, but I don't think they are silk. I think they are a quite nice satin. My only issue with these is the vague/ deceptive naming and listing. Oh and they do get wet which is annoying, but I guess you can push them up your wrist when you wash your hands, if you remember.

The thing I love most about these hair ties is that I can get a good tight wind using them so my hair holds in place all day long but when it’s time to come out, the hair tie slips and slides its way down my ponytail without taking any hairs with it and the elastic bounces right back again for reuse another day!This is a great pack of hair ties, the four colours are nice and distinct and having three of each gives me lots of options in styling my hair.They are great quality and it’s a good size pack, I’m happy with mine!

These come vacuum packed.I would describe them more like a bobble than a scrunchie as they are a bit too thin for me to class as a scrunchie. However, they hold my ponytail well and feel very secure like a bobble whereas with some of my scrunchies my hair is always coming loose.You get 4 different colours (see photo) but I’m not that keen on the colours. I will only use the black and give the other colours to my daughter.Product description says silk then satin. They’re definitely not silk at this price!RRP £8.79 for 12 scrunchies is reasonable.

These satin scrunchies look very nice - as nice as my silk ones. They are not as smooth as silk, but they are smooth enough to be gentle on my hair. They are the small skinny type of scrunchies and are excellent to use in the day.They come vacuum packed, and need a little stretching out to restore its shape, but then they are perfect.
