LED Driver 24V 36W, Constant Voltage 24V LED Driver 1.5A, Ultra-Thin Power Supply, 240V to 24V Transformer for LED Downlights, Strips and G4, MR11, MR16 Light Bulb

Used this for my kitchen underlighting which needed a 36w 1.5a driver (which are remarkably uncommon it seems) - works great with zero issues once all wired up. The connectors can be a bit resistant to wires being shoved in but they fit well and it's an easy install.

Good product, delivered promptly and easy to install

This came up at a good time for me. I’m working on a lighting project and this was perfect for my needs. The connections are via small screw terminals. The cables are secured in place by green plastic covers at both ends. In use, there is no audible noise from the power supply. The voltage remains very stable even when loaded to around 75% of its power rating. The only downside is the physical size of this power supply. Compared to others I have used; this is very large for only a 60w supply.

I needed a 12V LED power supply to power 6 x 5W LED downlights in my Bathroom. This is to replace some aging fluorescent tubes that have finally given up the ghost. This 12V 60W Constant Voltage driver should be just the job. The 6 LED downlights total 30W drain, which is half what the driver is capable of and well within the industry recommended maximum load of 80% of total, i.e. 0.8 x 60 = 48W. As a bonus, the 30W of the new lights beats the 80W of the two tubes.As a quick test prior to fitting, I hooked up a half dozen of the 5W lights to the driver via Wago-type connectors. The driver's connectors were really fiddly to wire up because the terminals were unnecessarily small. The terminal covers have quite small openings and basic cord grips to grip the cables' outer sheaths.With the lights connected, all 6 lights gave a good steady, flicker free output (see pic). Once it settled down, the power draw was 30.8W (see pic) - that's really quite efficient.Whilst the product description doesn't claim any IP rating. The fully enclosing plastic case can't hurt.There are two quite small through holes in the casing, at diagonals to each other to fix a (very small) pair of screws to a joist or similar, though no screws were provided. A very light capable LED driver. Measuring 180mm x 60mm x 20mm high and weighing in at 149gms. With a height of only 20mm it should comfortably fit in tight spaces above kitchen units or ceiling voids. Connections are via screwed terminals.Rated at an output of 24 Volts, 2.5 Amps and 60 Watts. I could only test this at a maximum of 35 Watts which is ample for my needs. The output voltage was steady and there was no noticeable heat rise in the LED driver. Looks and feels like a well-made driver and I have no hesitation in giving it a recommendation of 5 stars.

I used this with 2 x 2m LED strips in my kitchen. THere's no flicker and when using with a power monitor, it seems to be fairly efficent based on checking the power being used on the DC side. QUite happy with it, hope it lasts and would recommend.

As others have said, this produces a solid - in the case of the one I have, 24V - output.My complaint is that the plastic case is thinner than I'd like, given that parts of it conceal 240V. The underneath plastic is particularly thin and flexes under minimal pressure. Fine if you've got it screwed against something solid; less fine if not.

So far, I am happy to own it. The built quality is good and feels robust and durable. It was simple to connect the cables/terminals. The size is a bit big. However, works well with stable output voltage. Perfect for LED strips or certain types of door bells installation.Arrived well-packaged. The price is reasonable in my opinion. Will recommend.

Utilisé pour alimenter un ruban led dans le coin lecture de ma fille sous un lit mezzanine. Le transformateur semble fiable et aucun scintillement à noter.J'aime bien la finesse du produit et le maintien des câbles, sécurisant.Je suis moins fan de la dimension (L*l) qui reste quand même imposant. Néanmoins, ça se glisse très bien dans un faux plafonds ou derrière un meuble etc. Ça reste une dimension classique pour ce type de produit actuellement sur le marché.Produit correct et fait son job. Je recommande ce petit transformateur

Que dire, si ce n'est que ce transfo fait ce qu'on attend de lui ? La seule question étant de savoir jusqu'à quand ! Ayant, dans un passé récent, vécu de fort mauvaises expériences avec des luminaires à LED dont le transformateur rendait l'âme après quelques mois, je ne peux qu'émettre des réserves quant au prix modeste auquel celui-ci est vendu. Toutefois, le fait est qu'au déballage et après quelques heures d'utilisation, je n'ai rien à lui reprocher. En cas de problème prématuré, je mettrai à jour cet avis, comme il se doit.
