Does it keep out scents for parosmia suffers? Does it keep out water? YES. It works exactly as intended. It's the same feeling as pinching your own nostrils at full strength with fingers. I cook pizza for my kids as a parosmia-sufferer(garlic and onion are the WORST) and when I swallow while wearing these plugs, my ears plug up as well; which means that it blocks out all air and smell BECAUSE when you pinch your nose tightly and swallow, guess what happens? Ears get plugged and weird. Of course it's uncomfortable. Is plugging one's nose ever feel comfy? No. You want slightly more comfort? Get those ribbed nose plugs that you put IN your nose. But I like these because it's quick and easy to still do what I need to as a parosmia-sufferer. No air getting through means no water will either.

We use these for white water kayaking and they work great! There are four of us that use them to paddle and even in the roughest surfs, when you’re getting cart wheeled and flipped upside down they stay on and are much less expensive than the ones made for Whitewater. They even stay on during long swims through rough water and big waves. They are a bit tight though. We simply used very thin paracord to tie them to our helmets. Tied like the cottonmouth brand.

A few pairs didn't fit certain kids. But my kids range from 20 ,17,12 and 8 years old an my 8 year old is a small little thing! So they would fit her when they didn't fit her big brother the 20 year old... an between all the pairs we all had a set that fit our shaped nose so it worked well. If one didn't fit we tried another pair! Was great for the entire family!

These are now my go-to nose clips. They work well and they are economical. After around 50 hours of swimming, the clips break. That is fine, because you get a bunch of them in the package. I like the Speedo wire clips, but the plastic clips seem to work better. The Finis and other companies that make plastic clips all have failures to the clips after around 50 hours, plus or minus. Because these are cheep, and they work quite well, this is what I buy. This is my second purchase of the package of these clips.

Poor quality and very tight and I have a small nose. It is also large so looks silly. The hold does work and does what it needs to do but very uncomfortable.

Unlike most nose clips these work perfectly for people who have wider nostrils (people of African descendants). They hold well and stay there rather than slip off during the swim. I use them in open water. The soft rubber helps to protect your skin from being cut or anything by the plastic. However, once or twice the rubber slipped off, but were easy to put back on. The many colours allowed me to share them with friends.
