At first I thought it was not working at all. A very low level hum. The old one sounded like a cement mixer in comparison.I do wish modern fridge/freezer units adopted a more 50:50 volume approach. The one it replaced was probably close to 50:50, this is more like 60(fridge):30(freezer) but they all are.I did not realise/notice when I bought it, but both the fridge and freezer are frost free, so no defrosting needed. BONUS!One thing, to get it to the required 4 centigrade of lower it needs to be set to almost max. About 4.3 on the dial that is 1 to 4 and then MAX. Who knows how wam it would be on 1? Probably useless. But it is running at 3c to 4c, so cold enough. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not 50/50 *by W***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 September 2018* This appears to be a nicely appointed fridge freezer. It looks to be split 50/50 fridge/freezer. But the freezer section is much smaller - probably 25% of the usable capacity of the fridge section. The drawers are not particularly spacious, and the motor / pump area takes some space and makes the bottom drawer particularly small and poorly shaped - losing even more practicable space - more like a glove compartment. So do not overestimate how much you think you can load into the freezer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally chilled out my girlfriend! *by M***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 July 2018* Very nice fridge freezer. My girlfriend moved into her new flat at the start of the hot weather and found the in situ white goods were not chilling the prossecco to her liking, thus giving me ear ache when she got home from work. I pulled out my phone scrolled thru a list of choices and ALI KAZAAM a brand new fridge freezer appeared. Very prompt and polite service, the two delivery chaps were most helpfull. The size of the compartments etc were all perfect.
