Great clip for fine hair.
This black French hair clip works very well for my thin, fine hair. I’ve had a hard time finding a clip that actually holds my hair in place, and this one stayed secure when I wore it. I’ve only used it once so far, but it seems promising and well made. I’m not sure how it would perform on thick hair, but for fine hair, it has worked nicely.

This ended up being smaller than I expected. It ended up not mattering though. I am able to pull back all of my hair with it. It’s elegant looking.

Cheap but wasn’t cheap
First off, it’s very small, from the picture I thought it was bigger, it may hold back a section of your hair but not all of it. It’s made of cheap, thin plastic, like if you drop it on a hard surface it would probably break. I should return it but not sure it’s worth the trouble which is why the seller probably has it overpriced to begin with, banking on people like me. If I saw this in a store with the price I paid for it I’d laugh and definitely not buy it! Maybe it is worth the trouble to return it

The spring ... not strong enough grip
It says for thick hair but it did not hold mine up. My hair is well down to my waist and I still have a lot of it. This is more holding thick hair away from one's face. I suppose if I had less hair, or if it was shorter, it might work ok. Clips are only as good as the strength of the spring... this one is too weak. The color is very nice and shiny and match my hair well. =((

LOVE IT!!!
It may cost a bit more but it’s worth it. This hair clasp fits against my head perfectly. My hair is fine but it still holds it wonderfully. I’m not sure it would work well on very thick hair. I can even pull just my bangs back and it still holds my fine hair!! I would most definitely recommend this to my friends and family. It would make an awesome Christmas gift.
