My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven't, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let's just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I'd bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it's better for everyone if I don't.

This is my 3rd purchase of this mattress protector. I wanted to have multiples so I could rotate them. These are great for stopping accidental spills or anything from staining your mattress. I highly recommend this mattress protector if you're looking for one that will work!! I have a pretty good quality mattress that I don't want any chance of getting stained. This one works!! Like I said, I've bought 3 of them.

I have these on all our beds for many years. I received a $200 cooling mattress protector with our new Tempur-pedic bed, but it was made the bed feel hard with the stiff material. I went back and bought this protector and it made all the difference. Plus, I know the bed is well protected. Our previous bed was like brand new after 13 years with this protector.

Great idea

I bought this years ago. I’m reviewing it now because it’s just had its first test. Unbeknownst to me, my dog had become incontinent during the night. Had a very unpleasant awakening! A sizable portion of the sheets and the pad had absorbed urine. When I removed the pad, the mattress was still pristine white! Heck, it still looks new thanks to the pad. No odor, no stain on the matttress! The stains came out of the pad in the wash. Highly recommend.

I like this mattress protector. I can't speak to it being waterproof, but it seems to be of good quality and it doesn't crinkle or make noise if you move in the bed. I was really worried about it making noise, but it doesn't. I am pleased with my purchase.

My son left an uncapped dry erase marker on the bed and my husband rolled over on it while he was taking a nap 😭. Our sheets and this bed protector are ruined, but our mattress was spared. Would definitely buy again.
