Nice for the Price
Over the years, I had 6 different Smart Watches. Three were high end, three were cheapies (okay, less expensive). No matter, except for one which I tossed for being junk and this one that's still on my wrist for a couple of months now, they all self destructed in little over a year, 3 from dead batteries that wouldn't take a charge. So I figured after the first 3, why not buy one of the less expensive ones, and, if it goes, I won't cry as loud or as long when it bites the dust. Number 1 cheapie was so bad, it went into the circle file underneath my desk. Cheapie 2, did 90% of the functions of the expensive guys, it didn't have a stair function for one, I didn't care, I remember my math enough from grade school even though I'm an old geezer, I can count how many flights of steps I navigate. For 50 bucks, I wasn't going to complain. It went the traditional route lasted a year until the warranty expired and died. So Cheapie 3, shown here, was purchased. It didn't answer the phone, but it did find it for you or told you there was a telephone call, it waited for 10 steps before adding to my step count so it counted fewer steps, but from my experience with Smart Watches, all is relative dy to day. It uses the same VeryFit software program, but on-watch functions are more refined and accurate and there a few more than Cheapie 2. There is also a difference in the weather on the watch, I have to keep the forecast app on in the background of my cellphone for it to appear on the watch.

It's OK
This is my 2nd very fit pro watch. The 1st one worked fairly good, but lost some of its functions over time. I did wear the watch in the water so maybe it is not as water proof as I thought. 1st watch lasted about a year and a half.

Doesn't seem to track sleep accurately, app (VeryFitPro) keeps showing unwanted ads
I bought this because I am concerned that I am not getting a full night's sleep, and sleep apnea might be involved. The first night I used it, it told me I was in either light or deep sleep even though I knew I was awake for a good part of the night. The second night, it seemed to work accurately. The third night, it didn't seem to record anything. Last night, it told me I was awake for 16 minutes but I think it was a lot more. Maybe it works by detecting motion, but I don't know.I actually paid about $190 with tax for a Samsung Galaxy because the watch is not compatible with a desktop computer and the app, VeryFitPro, displayed "Jane wants to share a picture with you" and would not remove this even after I clicked on Decline. Today, a pop-up slammed itself into the display that says "Activate account. Ready to access? Dive into the action, activate now." From what I understand, this is the app and not the Samsung device. (I discussed this with a Geek Squad rep at the BestBuy from where I bought the device.) If this is in fact the app, and it is to the best of my knowledge the only one that works with this watch, I recommend against buying it.

Doesn’t track sleep consistently
This is my third watch of this type that pairs with the VeryFitPro app. The first one, purchased from a different seller, lasted over 3 years and still worked even after the watch face suddenly popped off. However, it needed to be replaced because my scotch tape solution was scratching my wrist (ha, ha).The first replacement I bought came from this seller, but after it failed to record my sleep twice in the first two weeks, I figured it was faulty and decided to exchange it, so the one currently on my wrist since only October 2024 was fine until sometime in December when it periodically stopped recording my sleep. It is totally random, but it has failed to record my sleep at least 10 times now.Since the whole purpose of this watch (other than to tell time) is to record steps and sleep, it is therefore doing only half of its job. Of course, there isn’t any product support for this issue (I checked), and the return window closed long ago. For $40ish dollars, you’d think the watch would last longer than 2 months before having major issues.I don’t know why the older one I had was so much better, but I’m regretting that I threw it away. I don’t see myself buying another watch from this manufacturer/seller (I can’t tell who really makes it), so I’m not sure what I’ll do when this one stops working entirely, which seems highly likely. Such a shame, too, because it’s a great product otherwise.
