My husband is just getting into woodworking. Would these be a good gift as a first set of chisels?

Obviously the price point is much lower, but how do these chisels compare to the Narex Richters?

Are the backs all found to be concave before flattening?

What’s the working length of these? Basically how long is the flat side before getting to the shaft? I’m doing tenons that are 5 1/2” deep
