BONSAI Juniper Tree Zen Garden With Pool Fishman

I was very skeptical ordering not only a plant, but a bonsai. I read some mixed reviews on this product but I went in and bought it and couldn’t be happier!! It came and was still moist! The leaves and trunk are sooo beautiful and thick! Very healthy and gorgeous plant. Fyi Ewok was added with the fisherman that comes with this one. ❤️ literally open the box and that baby is ready to go. Be sure to water every day and I also mist the leaves as well. Love my first bonsai!

This came packaged extremely well. It had a ceramic bridge, the fisherman with fishing pole, and a bird ornament. It was pretty full for the price and the pot is nice. I did trim it some and wire it. It is a great value compared to similar sized bonsai at my garden center. No complaints. For others who have mentioned them dying, these are outdoor trees and don't do well indoors. Consider keeping these on a patio or deck rather than indoors if you want to enjoy these for years to come. I am considering buying another varity from the seller. I am really happy with the purchase!!

The plant arrived nearly two weeks late. Despite the late arrival, and a damaged box, it had been packed well enough to survive. The shape of the tree is cute and so are the ornaments. I saw a couple reviews complain the water doesn’t stay on the “lake” side of planter, but I found the planter is porous where there isn’t glazing, so the soil soaks up the water through the pot. It makes watering so easy. Trying to water the traditional way on top of soil around tree is difficult because the soil mounds and the water runs off. I’d give it 5 stars if not for the huge delay.

I had such high hopes for this tree, especially given it's decent reviews. This tree was shipped across the entire U.S. from CA to PA (I wasn't sure where it was coming from at the time of purchase) and arrived broken. The bridge and the attached rock broke from the rest of the the "scene" and there is a blob of glue on top of the "ridge" with nothing on it. In the Amazon photo depicted there was a fisherman, a bridge, and a bird or lantern. So, off I went digging through all of the packaging in search of a small lantern or bird only to come up empty handed and disappointed. I looked twice to no avail, telling me that it was probably shipped without the broken piece. Because this is a Christmas gift, I am even more disappointed. It wouldn't be worth my while or money to return it. I will simply have to glue the rock and bridge together and apologize to my son for the missing part. I tried to get on the company website to complain and hope that they would at least send me a lantern or bird replacement (no phone number was listed on my order form in the box for me to call) only to be alerted by my computer that opening the site may damage my computer! Needless to say I gave up. On a positive note... the product quality is as it appears in the photo (minus my missing bird/lantern!!!)...too bad it just didn't arrive intact.

Still 5 stars because even though it arrived super late, it was packaged really well and the planter was super cute. we for sure thought it was going to be dead when we opened the box because of how late it arrived, and were already given a refund due to this reason. but upon opening it, there were a few brown spots from the stress of travel. my husband was super excited about this (it was a valentines day present). immediately, he got to trimming the dead branches and it recovered beautifully.

I actually accidentally ordered this item while looking for a pot that would hold water and a bonsai. It was a nice surprise when it arrived but unfortunately it doesn't hold water not even for a day. The little figurines were in perfect condition, the Juniper looks healthy - hoping it will stay that way. Just a bit disappointed in the pot not holding water. Otherwise it made a nice little gift - including to myself accidentally!

This little juniper tree provides a great starting point for trying your hand at Bonsai as a hobby. The pot and tree arrived wrapped in a plastic bag then stuffed into a box with foam peanuts. Everything was in great shape. If your fisherman is missing his fishing pole look for a crude looking toothpick as you unwrap the tree. This is the fishing pole. After rising the loose dirt out of the man's hand I was able to delicately push the pole into his grip. It knocks loose at times, but is easy to put back. It could be glued or pasted in, but that might cause problems down the road as it gets bumped. So for now I'm content to just fix it when it gets knocked out. The bird was a bit beat up (paint marring). But it gives the whole setup a nice weathered look. This keeps it from looking too factory finished. You'll need to purchase some bonsai tools for the tree. I purchased the kit found on this site that came with the pruners, bamboo brush, and broom rake. Also you'll need to get some training wire. The tree as it arrived was parked squarely on top of the fisherman. After a month of training wire, it is trained off of him and the rocks.In the end, buy this little tree and you'll be pleased with the purchase. It's a hobby that requires patience. And remember, that any scratches, dings, or bumps carry with them a story unique to you. So instead of getting upset, think of any little damage you do as a unique part of your experience with the tree. Have fun.

I received my tree today. It is a nice tree very healthy. It was packaged like fort Knox yet arrived damaged. The fisherman is broken off and he had no pole. The inside of the "pool" has a hole where they didn't cover that side with rocks and you can see the Orange of the other side of the pot where the tree is potted. The product itself is absolutely adorable it just has a lot of damage. I plan to keep it and try my luck with glue. I assume this happened in shipping and am going to order another one and hope for the best.My second tree arrived today in perfect condition. I have upgraded to a five star rating . I truly believe the damage to the first one was caused by rough handling on the part of the carrier. These trees and pots are really packed well. Love it

Was a gift for my mother. Arrived in a good amt of time, and considering it was coming to Toronto from California, very very happy with the way it was packaged. Impressive. She thoroughly loves it. Everything was intact, and such a healthy little tree. Thank you for taking the proper care in packaging!

Pot is useless, but Tree is exactly as pictured. Have since repotted and put outdoor and it has grown like a weed. Fantastic little bonsai. easy to care for. Not an indoor tree.

Cannot get it through the border ofcourse. Wish I knew this prior.

Arrived fairly fast. Soil was still damp and it is still brightly coloured and alive.
