This product has a nice texture. The leather is smooth and works well to cover damaged areas. I used it on a bag to cover up the brand. It turned out beautifully. I used a legal size sheet of paper to create a template. I used clear tape to attach the template to the leather and to cut the shape. The leather cut easily and attached well, very good adhesion. Be sure to line it up well before applying to a firm surface. It was not easy to remove, which is what I wanted. I am also pleased with the thickness of the product also. I am confident that it will be durable on my ebike bag. I plan to use the remaining product for embroidery applique. Excited at the thought!

We ordered this leather to cover the old, thinning leather on our 20+ year-old sofa. The brown color matches perfectly with our sofa, and the adhesion is excellent, making it blend seamlessly without looking like a patch. It has been on our sofa for a while and still looks great. This is the second time we have purchased this leather for our sofa, and we are very satisfied with the results.

It was easy to install and covered the place my dog chewed into our leather couch really well. You can hardly tell it's patched. Luckily, the color was almost perfect and best of all it's thin enough that the dog hasn't noticed it and tried to yank it off. He's a stinker. Would buy again. - OH, and it's a large piece so you can do several decent sized patches and still have some material left over for new boo-boos.

I had a rip in my (faux?) leather couch from IKEA. It kept getting bigger as my kid would jump around on the couch. It was probably 4-5 inches long when I bought the patch. I was most concerned about color matching but that was a pleasant surprise— it matched great. The patch was very easy to apply. I cleaned the couch cushion with an all purpose cleaner, then let it thoroughly dry for 10 minutes, then stuck the patch on. I put a heavy large book on the couch cushion overnight for good measure. It’s not a perfect fix but you can’t really see it unless you look close. It’s only been on for a few weeks, so far so good, but the real test will be if it stays on for years.

I gave it 3 stars because I love the product but hate the color change!! I have ordered this product several times in the large roll. It has always matched my couches perfectly! The newest order do NOT match and it is a very different color. I have always purchased "New Dark Brown". My couches were not cheap in price but cheap in quality and I'm trying to make them last another few years. The product is great, it is easy to apply and stays very well. I am just sick about the color change. The picture shows 3 strips of new color over original patch of old color. (I had to cover seams that peeled). The portion under the patches is my actual couch so you can see how well it matched before. I didn't notice at first because I didn't have the overhead light on so that's on me. They need to update their page for repeat customers with the NEW "New Dark Brown". So disappointed!!!

Bought the black 8x11 patch to fix a tear in a leather car seat. Cut it to match the shape and it applied really well. Very sticky I don't think the edges will peal and matches well it's hard to even notice. I don't know about durability yet just made the repair the other day but I think it will be fine for the passenger side as its not used as much

I did not give a "Durability" rating since I've only had the patch on my car seat for a few weeks. That being said, the quality of the materials is very good and the adhesive quality is also very good. Put it this way: I bought the patch and put it over the rips in my leather driver's seat and it's working out great.....soooooo, I bought another one to use on the passenger's seat. There you go....I purchased twice....uh-huh.

This is as close to my couch as I can get. It was super easy to use and seems pretty durable.

It worked well on an office chair and had some left to fix my slipper!
