This unit was surprisingly nice upon opening the package. The unit arrived in a black inner box and was encased in plastic. Also included was a cap, which was a nice touch. The hair itself is soft but just a little dry on the ends, but that did not bother me too much - because I thought after washing and conditioning the unit, that dryness would disappear. There was only minimal hair loss. However on day 2, the unit did shed more, but I was not panicking. I expected some hair loss. The hairline itself was just okay. I thought it was over-plucked and additionally, the knots are not bleached as advertised, and as many others have said in their reviews. Now, I am at day 5 and the shedding continues. It gets matted at the nape of the neck and at the top. I do not use a comb or brush because I want to protect the hair, but found myself using a wide toothed comb today.
