This has been such a fun toy for my 4 year old son! At first I was a little wary that he might have trouble with the concept since there were different kinds of tools and screws, but the whole fun of it has been watching him problem solve and critically think on his own. Watching him play with this has been such a change of pace from his loud, noisy toys and tablet. This easily entertains him and keeps him occupied longer than many of his other toys!The toy itself is high quality, smooth wood. The pieces and tools are well made with no jagged edges. There are quite a few small pieces so I wouldn't recommend this toy to really young toddlers who are still in the habit of putting things in their mouths. But it's the perfect to really stimulate your child's mind and aid in development!

my 4yo is a bit behind in this area, never showing much interest in similar activities that were more for the baby stage. so held off on getting this type of activity until now. but as soon as i let her have it (assembled) she was able to remove all of the bits! and puts them back! really enjoying this activity!!! the bits and tools are all of good quality. the wood as well, the paint finishing and all is nice and does not feel cheap or of poor quality. definitely recommend.

My grandson is almost 3 and fascinated with screwdrivers. He loves to take out the screws and put them back in. This comes with all the tools needed.

I bought the gift for my 3yr old niece. He sees his dad working on things around the house. He wanted lil boys toy like what his dad uses to fix stuff at home. The material is real strong and sturdy and I love the design.
