These brackets worked out perfect. I purchased to install under my desk, on one of the walls—- to clip onto it a small 2way communication radio. The radio has a clip, the clip now stays on the bracket and if I need the radio I just unclip it. These brackets are dimensionally as described. Perfect for my intended use and for many other uses out there.

Used in motorhome to mount the handheld UHF. Need to use screws to hold on mount as the weight of handheld pulled sticky off dash. The second mount is too wide/high for Microphone clip but still works. Overall happy with purchase.
