Clip broke off
Nicely packaged. When I first held it, I thought it feels more plastic than I would like. After first use I fell in love. It has a very nice balance in the hand, come with a lovely colour ink. However just after few uses the clip broke off and left a very sharp cutting piece behind. Not happy about the flimsy quality.

Perfect gift
I was really pleased with this pen. I got it as a gift for my son to give his best friend starting secondary school. A nice pen at a reasonable price.

Great Quality
Really nice pen. Fairly heavy but nice quality.Only downside.... I think this model may have been discontinued and so price is hiked I think. I say this as this particular purchase replaces the same model I broke the clip on :-( I liked the pen so much I bought it again but price was higher than first time round.

TL;DR: Pens are great, but the smooth finish wears off after a while.
These pens feel excellent, they have a nice weight to them and the QuinkFlow cartridges will last a very long time (I have found that I can nearly get through a whole academic year with two).So why only 4 stars?I am in education right now, so I write quite a lot, and I have found that the finish on the metal starts to wear down after a while (I'd say around 4 months). This is not an isolated issue, I have bought two of these pens and used them in the same way, only to have the finish come off in streaks along the side of the pen where my hand rests (See the attached images). This is particularly noticable just above the lower section of both pens where I apply most pressure when writing. The lack of finish exposes the raw metal beneath the smooth coating which is quite scratchy and unpleasant to hold. I would have deducted more stars, but I am aware that I am quite a heavy user; I would expect the pens to last much longer for a person who is just taking brief notes.I highly recommend these pens, and I think that the aesthetics and writing experience are worth buying a new one occasionally.

Good pen without paying through the nose and breaking your bank account!
This pen is a joy to use!I write a lot, a heck of a lot, i have a dream journal (many now), diaries, recipe notebooks, letters to my stateside friends (old school lol) and i really needed a pen that would last, looks nice and writes well.Well it writes ever so smoothly, in fact it is probably the best pen i own, it seems to glide over any paper you wish to use, and even though i bought 2 replacement ink thingys, i am yet to replace the original ink bit in the pen, so that is a massive bonus i feel.It does come in a nice presentation case but i never keep these, and at night i keep it with my dream journal and the magnetic clasp on the journal means the pen stays stuck to my journal until i need it in the middle of the night or the morning, or whenever i wake up from dreams, it is always there and always together.Such a quality pen, feels great, looks fab and works so well, i highly recommend this one if you are looking for a good pen without paying through the nose and breaking your bank account!

Scratches quite easily
I mainly use ballpoint pens as they're harder to smudge and I own quite a few parker ball points ranging from Jotta to Sonnets. I just had it delivered today and instantly noticed some problems with the pen. Mainly, the hole when the ink cartage prutudes are too large compared to the nib of the pen, giving rise to a rattling noise when writing at some angles. Also, the chrome button can easily be scratched by simply operating it normally. Other than those problems, I found the pen to be quite pleasant to use, it have a perfect weight and the nib prutudes st just the right amount and the grip is perfect even though it's metal.

If you like good quality, comfortable and unusual pens then I would recommend that you seriously consider this one.
I have to admit that I like good pens and in my job there is a lot of writing involved, so a comfortable pen is a necessity rather than a luxury,at least that is my excuse.I find the Parker jotter pens too narrow for my hand and my fingers start to cramp when using them. I bought this pen because it is wider than the jotter pens and the chiselled finish looked as if it offered good grip, however my fingers grip below this feature which was a little disappointing. The gunmetal finish is very unusual and striking, unlike any other pen which, hopefully, will help to prevent it falling into the hands of colleagues or being misplaced.I was surprised at how light it is only 26 grammes, compared to my favourite pen the Parker Urban Metallic Chrome Trim Ball Pen which weighs in at 34 grammes, which I would like to use at work but is too wide fit in my uniform pen pocket.I find it very comfortable to write with and I look forward to using it at work.If you like good quality, comfortable and unusual pens then I would recommend that you seriously consider this one.
