Great price, amazing sound
I'm a big fan of soundcore products. Great price and no compromise on quality. They stands true for these earbuds, they sound so great, the battery is really good, I've got a Samsung so they connect easily by just opening the case and the phone stand feature is genius. I absolutely love them. One thing I would say is that if you are not a bass heavy person like myself, maybe you might not enjoy how they sound very much. However, they have a great soundcore app with an equaliser which allows you to set the sound profile you prefer so shouldn't much of an issue. Also the touch controls are very sensitive so you might find yourself changing the track when trying to adjust the earbuds in your ear. Again, the app allows you to tweak a few things about the controls in the app. Overall, for the price these are absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Awesome bass, excellent sound quality, great price, well worth it.
Genuinely so surprised with the quality of these ear buds! Going in, I wasn’t directly familiar with Soundcore having heard did them, but never owned any of their products before, but as my trusted JBL Wave Flex got nicked at the gym, I needed something new. The P40i reviewed very well and were a good price for ear buds with ANC - usually £60, but £34 in the January sales! 👌 The app is easy to use and has a nice amount of customisation to really get the sound and control set up that suits you, the ANC is far better than my wife’s JLab earbuds (similarly priced) and the sound quality is really fantastic - a surprisingly big upgrade from my JBL’s! As someone who listens to a lot of electronic dance, D&B and Hiphop, I’m really happy that the bass is deep and resonant. Really can’t stand when a tune drops the bass and earbuds fail you with tinny sounding bass. And these truly deliver bass, especially in R&B mode. The multiple different sized ear buds are good to really fit your ears cleanly and comfortably and the earbuds and case feel premium, with a nice matte finish on the champagne coloured ones that I went with 👍 They only arrived last night, so still need to do a full battery test, but at present, I couldn’t be happier with them 👍

Good earbuds
The soundcore P40i earbuds are a good budget-friendly option that punch way above their price point! I love the adaptive ANC — it does a solid job blocking out background noise during commutes or work, adjusting automatically to my surroundings for a more comfortable listen. The bass-heavy sound with BassUp tech is really fun and immersive, especially for pop, EDM, or hip-hop — those 11mm drivers deliver thumping lows without feeling muddy. Battery life is insane: up to 12 hours per charge and a whopping 60 hours total with the case. I barely need to recharge weekly. The case is clever too — it doubles as a phone stand for hands-free video watching, which is super handy.

Bass heads, buy these!
I switched from Apple to Android and so had to leave my airpods behind as they just do not work with Samsung (by design, it's not just you if your trying and failing to use Airpods with a non-Apple device!) after watching many, many YouTube videos, I noticed these were just about every tech reviewers "budget bargain", purchased on sale at £33 with the confidence that if they werent to my taste, I could just send them back. I will be keeping these! To disclaimer, I am not an audiophile, I am a niche listener as I am a bass head. I love the feeling of my brain being jiggled in place, bass so hard you feel like any fillings you have are at risk of being shaken out of your teeth. It's not for everyone, and not for the average listener. These pair to your device (at least on Android) exactly like Airpods, as soon as you open them, pop up on your phone asking to pair, you are then prompted to download the Soundcore app, this is vital to the listening experience! Run through set up and firmware updates (will prompt you what to do) and the led bar on the front of the case will react to show you it's updating (really nice feature!). You then want to set up "HearingID", this will take you through a hearing test (doubt medically accurate) to ascertain what hertz range you can and can't hear so it can adjust your profile to you specifically. Complete that and enjoy. Pros: - yes they have the silicon tips that go down into your ear, but much to my pleasant surprise, no uncomfortable inner ear pressure sensation! I'm confident I could wear these for hours and hours without any discomfort! - sound quality, I would describe these as bright and full in the main. No tinny muddy notes picked up across my testing of various genres. I also tested a song that goes down to 20/30hz, and the bass was still very much rumbly and controlled, no blurring or static type effect, I would say these are a solid choice for a bass head that doesn't want to carry their expensive headphones out in public but also doesn't want to sacrifice hearing the bass to their favourite songs. I would summarise the sound stage as "If Airpods had bass capability" - honestly think these may well be the best everyday carry for the vast majority of headphone users, considering their price point, I honestly believe Anker have performed magic here, I have had £100+ pairs that don't sound as full, bassy and clear as these! I would say these are better than Beats buds, or basic Airpods, which Anker should be very proud of considering once more people have tried these, they will question if they want to use Airpods again other than for the fashion statement. Cons: - the built in 'phone stand' flip up thing isn't going to be useful for 99% of users, any phone case will probably be too big to fit with any stability. - the ANC isn't going to win any awards anytime soon. When compared with Bose or Apple Pros, it's noticeably weaker on this feature, so if your buying these to absolutely silence everything around you, you will most likely need to look elsewhere. TLDR: Better sound than base model Airpods, actually have a surprisingly wide sound stage, you can hear even the most boosted of bass and feel the rumble, make a perfect every day carry, £100-150 pair of headphones for half the price or less. ANC could be better. Absolutely buy them, especially on sale.

Amazing earbuds
Omg. I am so satisfied with these earbuds. Excellent sound quality, charging cable, extra rubber ear buds, wonderful case and to download the app and use it is a breeze. Such a bargain I've had. Definitely recommend.

Unbeatable at this price
These earbuds are incredible value for money. The noise cancelling is excellent at this price point. The Soundcore app is really easy to use, the presets are OK but can definitely achieve better EQ yourself. Bass isn't overwhelming at all like you find in a lot of cheap earbuds. Clean mids and maybe slightly more treble than I like but overall great sound quality. My only quarm is that none of the changeable buds fit my ears perfectly but obviously mileage will always vary person to person. For my use they are fine, but if I was doing any intense exercise then there might be a risk of one falling out.

Great sound and features fo the price
Great product, sound quality is superior to the previous value headphone sets I’ve had. I use these for work and home. The touch controls can be adjusted in the app which I really like, so you can change what 1 tap, 2 tap and 3 taps does on each headphone, this versatility was a great function. The stand for the phone works and is great for use on flights or trains. The only downside I have found is the microphone usage for Teams calls isn’t the best. However, I’m not marking them down because for the price they are still very good! If you want everything, you get what you pay for, and these headphones are a great set for the price

OK if they worked, but not great at all for those who will use them for video music or films.
This relates to the Anker P40i ear buds for £34.99 After many problems with these buds I am going to accept Soundcores offer of a full refund. The positives are that the sound quality is not bad at all. You get a selection of bud covers to fit any sized ear. They can be paired to 2 devices, so swapping between music on your phone and watching Youtube is as simple as switching one off and starting the other. The battery life is good. ANC is good. Quality of speech on mobile is good. So far those positives match almost every bud on the market including many for half the price. Soundcore have HearID so you can conduct a hearing test to set the equaliser at the optimum level for your ears. In fairness most buds have the equaliser option, but you save 5 minutes by having a 'hearing test' rather than running some music and manually setting up the equaliser. The bad? Well for a start the manual is crazily poor. I spent days trying to use and test them and the manual was not much help at all. So here's some things to watch out for: if the buds are in the case and you open the case, the buds become active immediately. If you don't use them for a while, they switch off so you need to put them back in the case, close the lid, open the lid and take them out to 'start' them. There is a flashing LED to tell you when the case is charging, but nothing to indicate when charged. When in the case, the buds charge automatically, but there's no indication to let you know when they are charging or charged. The only way to tell what charge is left in the buds, is to start the app and connect to the buds, then close the app, wait for the icon to appear on the top of your phone, swipe down, and it tells you the charge state of the case and each bud. Then you have to close the app and connect back to whatever you were doing. When you put the buds into your ears, it's almost impossible not to activate the button zone, so you're almost constantly turning the volume up or down or cycling between tracks. The app isn't bad to use but can be a fumble trying to get it to connect. The main drawback for me once you get them going, is that there's lag, despite having Bluetooth 5.3. When listening purely to music or a podcast this is not much of an issue. But if watching video as I do daily, the sound is a half second behind the video, which is awful. I suspect that's why they are on half price. Even if everything else was perfect with them, the lag is so important that I would be disappointed with them for that reason alone. Also one of the buds loses charge much faster than the other. It claims 10 hours of battery life but I would say it's more like 4 for one of them. One very annoying thing is that out of all the reviews you read, most seem to be 'Vine' reviews. That is, the customer was given the device free, so obviously most reviews are heavily positively biased due to the device being free. It makes it difficult to get a real sense of what people think of them. I'm glad to give a much fairer review and to be fair I would live with all of the things I dislike about them, IF there was no lag. But when watching video, it means a major negative experience with video and audio being out of sync. I have an old set of budget buds that cost me £12 in 2017, and there's no lag on them. If they can do it, Soundcore surely must be able to in 2024?
