So glad I found this fan!
Great when you need to be able to control/see temp from somewhere else. I got this for my Mom as she was in the nursing home and I wanted to be able to turn the fan on for her from home when she seemed restless or too warm on the camera. This works PERFECTLY!! I can see what the temp is in her room, control the speed and direction. This has been priceless for helping to keep her comfortable when I can’t be there in person! It is very quiet, the app is self explanatory and easy to use, the remote is a great tool when just across the room and this fan will DEFINITELY keep the cool air circulating in the summer or help push the warm air to other rooms in the winter! It has a very small footprint compared to other pedestal fans and it extremely easy to take apart and clean!

Best fan I’ve ever owned
This DREO model is the best fan I’ve ever owned. In the past, I’ve bought fans sold at WalMart, Target, etc. They’re all mostly the same—3 speeds, fairly noisy esp. at higher speeds (from both the fan itself and the metal ‘cage’), and no real ‘low’ speed. This DREO fan improves on every aspect of these cheaper fans, making a near-perfect pedestal fan. First, the DREO has nine speeds, from 1 (very low, but still very usable) to 9 (very high; this level moves some serious air). You can get a gentle breeze or a powerful wind or almost any degree inbetween. Second, this fan is extremely quiet. Unlike previous fans I’ve owned, the fan shroud (or ‘cage’) on the DREO is fully assembled along with the fan blades, so there’s no rattling from misaligned cage clips or imbalances in the blades or cage. At Level 1 (lowest fan speed), you might not hear it at all unless the room is particularly quiet. I’ve never seen any fan deliver so much air with so little noise. It’s not silent but it’s impressively quiet compared with every other fan I’ve owned. Third, it’s crazy how much air this fan can move. It looks small and I was concerned about its ability to move air without a lot of noise. I set the fan up and placed it exactly where I had my old fan (right at the end of my bed). The DREO performed so well, I was able to move it back against the opposite wall (about 10 ft. away from the end of the bed). It still works great, even on the lowest fan speed. Finally, a few odds and ends—the fan remote is very nice. It’s well laid out and easy to use. Assembly is very easy (mainly, you just have to attach the base to the fan/pole). The ‘quality’ of the air movement is something I’ve really noticed. I can’t quite describe it but at low speeds, it feels like a pleasant breeze and at higher speeds, there’s a lot of air moving but it doesn’t feel like you’re sitting in front of a fan. The DREO fan just ‘feels’ better than any fan I’ve owned previously. The only ‘con’ I can think of is price. It is an expensive fan but not crazy expensive and, having used it for a couple days now, I think it’s worth every penny. I’m really pleased with this fan.

Great fan-Never buying another lasko.
I was tired of buying lasko oscillating fans that always broke. The arm that controls the oscillating broke on every one(8 fans total) even when I tried using them without oscillating, 3 laskos motors died on me too. I finally decided to spend a bit more and try and find a decent fan that would last. Did some research online and Dreo kept popping up. Then the real work started🤣. Dreo has SO MANY models of fans it made my head spin. A bunch of fans within their 5 series and 7 series (maybe more series than that Im not sure). On the surface they all look identical to me for the most part. Dig deeper and you find that they are separated mostly by how much air they move. Curiously they use distance alot (fan A reaches 80 ft fan B reaches 100 ft etc Im used to CFPM as a guage) and how far they articulate horizontal and vertically. Then there’s the ones with LED lights, wifi or no wifi. Eventually I decided for my personal needs I would go with the polyfan 704s. Honestly I was looking at the 707s but the difference in price didnt seem worth it to me. My criteria was for a fan that was quiet, that it had horizontal and vertical oscillation and that I could control with my phone. Build quality was high on the list but you have to physically see it to judge that. I finally broke out of my typical analysis paralysis and ordered the 704s. Arrived quickly and though the box looked like it had been handled roughly, but the insides seemed fine. Time will tell. Set up was a breeze. I did like the instructions said and rotated the fan pedestal up out of the box while leaving the fan head in its styrofoam cradle. It made it easier to do and Im sure doing it that way helps prevent damaging the motors that move the fan horizontally and vertically. Screwed on the base using the included tool and hardware (one washer and one screw). Took it out of its box, plugged it in and downloaded the app on an iphone and an android phone. I tested the included dedicated remote(battery included) but prefer the phone for controlling it. Downloading the apps was easy both on iphone and android. It was here that I THOUGHT I had ordered the wrong fan. While researching I loved the screenshots of all the custom controls you could easily do with the app. The custom horizontal and vertical arcs especially. I initially saw none of that on either phone app. Just saw a simple phone version of the dedicated remote it came With. I was bummed but then started poking around and touched the long oval under the fan icon. That took me to the magic screens i was looking for! There you can pick things like normal/turbo/custom and its where you can customize oscillations. Preset degrees (horizontal and vertical) or drag the dots to create custom range to oscillate. Theres a ton of other great controls and options that i’ll probably never use but are there if I want them. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago instead of the constantly breaking lasko pedestal fans. I was dubious about the ability of a small head fan to be as good as the big laskos but it’s honestly as good as the big fans (better) and the 704s is quiet too compared to laskos. I’m hopeful that this fan will be problem free . If it develops issues then I will edit this review. But otherwise, I love this fan. Hopefully this helps others overwhelmed by dreos choices.

Dr. Dreo
Dr. Dreo in the house! Forget everything you know about fans from old....you don't have to live in the past any longer! The future is here, available to purchase right now! Luxury. Dreo looks the part, looks sophisticated but can get the job done. James Bond perhaps. Quiet. Ninja breeze. Like most have said on here, you'll start to notice about 4 speed and on up, and I don't think that's any fault of the fan working, but more so the wind speed coming out at that point (tornadic). Yeah I said tornadic. Natural mode is nifty for that random outside breeze effect, only in the app, which also works great. Features. Lots of options. Mr. Dreo will blow left, right, up and down in any way that you could want. There are 6 modes, 5 if you subtract turbo mode: Normal, Auto, Sleep, Natural and Custom. 9 speeds plus turbo, so it's more like 9 1/4 speeds. The display can be turned on or off or auto (ambient light). The app is super easy to set up and operate (a caveman could do it) and it lets you access all the features. It comes with a remote....is it luxury? No. It will get the job done however, provided you have light to see said remote. You can always lay your greasy pizza fingers on the quality touch buttons on the stalk as a last resort. Don't know what else to tell ya. This fan is smart. I feel smart having made a worthy purchase, as will you. Owner of 5 Dreos; (2 heaters, pedestal, table top, and ceiling fan) all still working flawlessly. I feel like Dreo came out of nowhere a couple years ago, and they have been putting out quality product, starting to get some recognition, and they are constantly getting better. Thank you Dr. Dreo

Quietly Powerful
Assembly was very simple; the packaging itself very intelligently enables users to easily attach the fan unit to its pedestal. While unboxing, the build quality was incredibly evident; even though there are a lot of moving parts, it looked and felt very solid with quality materials. The fan itself is incredibly powerful; we bought the Dreo to replace a broken fan, and because of its power, were able to place the fan more centrally in the room, providing full coverage in our living room, and being more out of the way of traffic. It can oscillate both up and down and side to side; all programmable. We bought it for Summer heat, but I fully expect to use it to circulate air in the Winter months as well. Last but not least, it's quite, even at its highest settings (which we don't use; even at 7 out of 10, there's plenty of circulation. This fan has an app, because there are so many features, a remote couldn't really handle all the options (it does come with a simple remote for on/off, speed, etc.). I haven't used all of the features, but the "Natural" setting, which changes the power to mimic a breeze, is awesome! You can save "Common Angles"; I have it set, for example, to point at my work desk. There's more features than I'll ever need, and they've really thought about what features make sense for the user. My *only* slight issue is with the app itself; It works, but it takes some getting used to, and I feel the controls could be laid out a bit more intuitively. With that said, there are a lot of features, and once you get used to it, I know where to go. All said; a relatively compact, powerful, quiet fan with great features, and more than you'll likely ever need.

Works great! Build quality is questionable though.
This is awesome in terms of power and technology. It really forces some wind when it’s set on turbo mode. I love the oscillation that can go both vertically and horizontally. It also returns to its normal rest position when turning off which is a nice feature. I also like that all you have to do upon assembly is attach the base to the body which comes fully assembled. However the actual motor doesn’t seam that well fastened to the body. It’s very wobbly on top- sort of like a bobble head. It makes this cheap plastic squeaking sound when moving it around. I seen a viewer mention that theirs had snapped which makes me think this may not be just a fluke and an actual design flaw. Regardless, I love my Dreos and the app works great of course and so does the remote. I have 2 other Dreos that have been mostly trouble free that I love. I had a table top fan that the motor had burned up in and Dreo had replaced under warranty which they let me keep the broken one and just sent me a new one. Their costumer service is top notch and their products work great at what they’re supposed to do which is why I keep buying them. This also comes with a 30 months warranty included which is why I’m willing to deal with the wobbly head.

Very Impressive!
I chose this fan based on the customer reviews from others. I can honestly say that I am more than satisfied with this fan as well as Dreo for a manufacture. The design of this fan is very appealing, and it isn't overly big. It looks and feels very well made and like it should last for many years. The remote control works perfectly but the actual app to control it is even better. I now have multiple Dreo fans in my home and they all work perfectly. These fans are very quiet, but they move a lot of air! These fans made a huge impact on keeping my house cool this summer and moving the cool air from my air conditioner though out my home. If you're on the fence with Dreo as a brand, just pull the trigger and buy one. You'll be just as satisfied if not more satisfied than you would be with a different brand.

Excellent Fan, Powerful and Smart
This Dreo fan exceeded my expectations. It’s built with high-quality materials, runs quietly, and circulates air impressively. The 150° horizontal and 120° vertical oscillation cover the entire room. The smart features, like voice control and the app, make it incredibly convenient. Every function feels smooth and reliable. Absolutely worth the price. The 150° horizontal and 120° vertical oscillation is one of this fan’s best features. The 120° vertical range is essential. Anything less won’t circulate air throughout the entire room. It’s the perfect range. Anything more would be excessive. The 150° horizontal oscillation is ideal for full-room coverage. I use it to air out my living room, bedroom, and even the bathroom. When I’m staying in one spot, like working at my desk in the corner of the living room, I set it to 120° horizontal to concentrate airflow in that area. Choose 120˚ horizontal if you don't mind not having max coverage for an entire room.
