Humidity Solver
This stuff is great for anti-humidity protection. IDK how it holds up on direct UV & rain, but it's basically a magic spell against humidity. I spray it on the exhaust port/muffler of all of my small engine equipment twice a year. Store the can inside rather than in a superheated garage and it sprays well. Handles the heat fine & keeps the mufflers from rusting like they always do from the heat speeding up the zinc reaction on the factory galv. Inside of the pipes are still rusting, but the outside looks sharp & that's half the rust prevented. Sprayed the interior & underside of my steel mailbox too, it's not that thin 28ga steel, it's a thick steel about 2mm so the rust isn't an instant end to the mailbox & the mailbox is valuable enough to be worth saving instead of replacing. Humidity + rain led to some pretty gnarly pitting rust on the interior edges and underside of the mailbox after several years, which I wirebrushed, weld-filled, ground to shape and then put on two coats of this cold galv about a year ago. Sanded exterior & top, rusty metal primer, then two coats of a bronze metalized Rustoleum with hardener added. Looks perfect a year later, zero rust, no problems. Mailbox is getting beat on by the sun all day, rained on, and humidity touches 90% here regularly, probably avg 75% RH.

Appears to be solid protection
This zinc spray was used to protect a new wheel bearing hub. With time, all wheel bearing hubs will experience surface rust, which complicates brake rotor removal and simply looks bad. On a new hub, I wiped the surface clean with 200-proof denatured alcohol and applied a light first coat. After an hour to dry, I applied a second "wet" coat. This second coat was given 24-hours to dry. The resulting zinc coat was smooth and level; I was surprised at how well the coat leveled. Coating adherence appears to be good. The rotor was gently moved around to align the rotor screw and there were no visible scratches in the coating. I cannot comment on longevity, but I am pleased with the initial application.

Love it.
Used this in the restoration of a 75 year old outboard motor. Perfect for priming aluminum, and paint holdout is great. Goes a long way as well.

Would NOT recommend
O matter how much you shake the can (I bought 3 cans) they all splattered and dripped. Very disappointed

Shake can for minimum 5 minutes aggressively
This paint is very runny, stay 8-10 inches away from work and move at a steady pace

High value primer.
The paint adheres to the metal very easily with a minimum of loss. Best primer I have ever used.

Hot dipped look alike
Why did you pick this product vs others?: One coat and you can’t see the base metal. Looks like hot dip.

high solids zinc lays on heavy
I used this on my truck exhaust pipe after I welded it. There still isn’t any sign of rust and it didn’t peel or burn off.
