Measure soles of shoes before ordering and get the product that will cover slightly more or less. It is easy to trim a little with ordinary scissors. It is a self-stick product. There is a paper that peels off to expose the adhesive. I applied to an older pair of shoes, the rubber soles have a shallow texture. I spent a little time with rough sandpaper to smooth out and clean the soles before sticking on. I have used these many times over the past month and a half and quite satisfied they will last very well and stay stuck down. Might not work as well for rough soles or hiking shoes.
