Nice steel, Very Pretty, Heavy Duty
Very nice looking knife/machete. Blade is short to be an actual machete. Does not come super sharp but can put an edge on it easy enough. Impressed with the blade thickness. DC53 steel is a nice blend of durability with edge retention. I would highly recommend for the price point. I have not used for chopping. It’s very pretty so it’s a safe queen now but it would go in my bug out bag if needed.

I got one a while ago nothing wrong with it But the price was a lot more expensive And now I’m seeing they are selling them for a lower price than what I paid

Awesome knife! Handle is a bit small if you have XL hands.
Great Bushcraft knife. I’m a bigger guy so I like the weight and heavy duty construction.The only drawback is due to my XL hands. The handle is a bit small. I’ll probably buy some G10 and make my own. If not for that 5 stars. Sheath is aesthetically pleasing and a tight fit. The blade doesn’t rattle around inside of it. You don’t really need the leather retention strap but it is a great secondary retention option for that sense of security.

Much nicer than expected. Thick, heavy build, sharp and it fits the sheath perfectly. Nice chopper.

Blade quality is lacking for such a high price
This thinking looks way cool! My husband wanted this and had plans to use it around the property. My husband uses a Tormek - 8 to sharpen his knives and chisel blades. He had several People that hire him to sharpen their tools as well. Sadly he’s very disappointed and is not happy with the quality of the blade. It does not keep an edge and for the price of this thing you’d expect it to be considerably better He bought a $28.00 machete similar to this style but a couple inches shorter. He says the blade in the cheaper machete is much better and he no longer has a need for this tool. It’s a shame it was so expensive. We hoped for so much more than this can do.
