Billy Bloo Is Stuck in Goo

Just a fun book to read to our 4 year old grandson! The pictures are great to explore as you laugh your way through the book.

My two and four year old boys absolutely LOVE this book and ask to read it A LOT! We came across it at our local library as it was on display during Black History Month; solely because it's a book with a black child as the main character and not a book about him being black, just being a kid. Anyway, by the third time of having to renew the book we decided to just buy it. My boys are constantly quoting the book to the point where my four year old is almost reading it by himself (from memory). And the best part about it is that I actually enjoy reading it too which is super important to keep reading fun for all of us. The story and illustrations are funny and engaging, and I love that at the end of the story my boys always answer the final question with great enthusiasm. Added bonus, the story rhymes which my librarian never fails to remind me is an important part of early literacy.

My son , now 5, loves this book still, since we first read it a year or so ago. The illustrations are creative and bright, and i love that there are so many characters so I can make funny voices for each one. The book also rhymes which makes it easier for my son to know it by heart and read along. This is really a great book for keeping and reading often. Its also funny!

I found this book in my pediatrician's office and read it to my kids. I don't know who loved it more, myself or the kids.

In the end, one is left to wonder, who are these silly people "helping" Billy Bloo?! :)
