These bookshelf speakers deliver a lot of sound. They have input ports for a variety of cable types, an RCA output stereo port and are bluetooth capable. I used exclusively bluetooth pairing with my iPhone 13 using a premium streaming service subscription. I was able to adjust the volume, bass, treble and mode through the remote or the knobs on the side.Speaker wire and some cables are provided but you may need more length on your cables because the speakers have a lot of sound and can fill a big room if you need it to. The room I have them in the bookcase in is 30 FT x 15 FT with wet plaster walls and it fills the room easily. Between the adjustment on the speakers and the EQ adjustment on my iPhone I can find the sound that suits my taste. They would also be good speakers to use with a smart tv in a room and with bluetooth capability, they don't have to be connected by cables and can be a distance from the TV.I like the speakers and I use them almost every day, sometimes switching my iPhone between speakers on the 2nd floor as I move around the house.

Update 3-2-2024After my review of 2 stars, the company reached out and sent a second set of speakers. Pretty much all of the "issues" I listed in my original review (see below) were not present in the new set. The distortion on lower notes can be present on tracks with heavy bass and with the bass on the speaker turned up. Only certain tracks cause it to be overly noticeable (like "Children of the Omnessiah'). Most normal tracks, even with good bass, do not cause this. You can alleviate it by turning the bass down and/or the volume down.The overall sound signature still matches my original review, though turning down the treble on this one did seem to clean up the harshness more.One annoying thing that is still present is that after enough time of no signal, the speakers turn off. When turned back on, they default to the standard volume, treble, and bass settings. They also default to Bluetooth, so you will have to change everything to where it should be.Overall, this new set has been a good improvement. Not perfect, but respectable. If you like brighter speakers, give these a chance._____________________________________________________________________________________Original Review:Before I get to the specific issues with these speakers, I want to talk about the overall sound signature. I tested primarily with Bluetooth.These speakers are very bright out of the box. Harsh even. I suggest turning down the treble all the way, and then easing it up a notch at a time to find what suits your ear. Bass it a bit weak from these, so that should be pushed up to max. Even adjusting as such, the sound has a bit of an "edge" to it. It does seem to get plenty loud.Weight seems good for both speakers and the accessories are decent. The control knobs spin infinitely, so it is difficult to figure out where the bass and treble are without turn either all the way down or up before making adjustments. There is also no indicator to tell you if you are in the 3d mode or not.Issues:The contacts in the remote for the positive side were bent in/too recessed to make contact with the batteries so I had to pull them out slightly so the remote would work.The veneer felt like it was coming up at some of the edges.There was residual glue on the speaker face after removing the grills (which are totally removable).A screw was loose and sticking out of one of the speakers. All the way out and surrounded by dust. Screwing it back in revealed that the threading in the speaker was stripped, so it slipped out during shipping. It seems to be holding, but it is not really doing its job.The speaker that houses the amp makes a farty, rattling noise at higher volumes at lower notes. I'm not sure if this is caused by a loose component inside, the various air gaps through the plate amp that you can feel holding your hand behind the speaker, or if the woofer is defective. This noise is not present on the passive speaker.These have potential to be a solid alternative to sound bars or to be a beginner sound system. But these issues need to be addressed. It is possible that I received a bad set. If I get a good replacement, I will update this review.

I used to do in college. I am used to hearing music really loud. These speakers provided enough volume for me. I connected the 2 speakers with the provided wire. It is simple enough. Unscrew the red knob on back of speaker. There is a hole that you insert the red wire into and then screw back down on the wire. Then do the same on the other knob which is black. Then repeat procedure on the other speaker. Now that the wires are connected to each other, plug in and turn on the main speaker. I will predominately use Bluetooth. To get into the BT mode, push in the volume button and you will see the red light turn blue. Once you connect, it should connect automatically in subsequent uses when you get I to the BT mode. The sound is great. Treble is crisp and there is enough bass considering the size of these speakers. Definitely a nice pair of speakers.

Easy to connect & install & sound quality is pretty good - overall pretty happy with these speakers.

The media could not be loaded.  If you know, then you know. Most people don’t realize or pay attention to whether or not a speaker is an active speaker or not but this just means you will not need to amplify it and it includes the amplifier built-in into the speaker. There is a master and a slave, just like other active speakers that I have so put your active speaker on the side closest to your power supply. Just make sure that it can reach.I absolutely love the HDMI arc that was included and I’ll be plugging this into the back of my monitor so my zoom calls will sound absolutely amazing and when I’m not using zoom, I’ll be able to listen to my music from my computer. I spend so many hours and I’m excited to get this going.

Amazing speaker for the price. They scale with better equipment. Highly recommend. I took a chance buying this and it worked out pretty good. Great speakers for near field listening.
