A rainbow of possibilities. Who knew thread could make me happy?😊
DMC thread is the best. Quality is unmatched and it’s so soft. Colors are stunning and the thread doesn’t break. I may have a problem because I want all the colors!

Very white. Nice woolen threads
Nice wool. Good quality. Shade of white was too bright and clear for my project.

good quality
I like to have extra tapestry wool on hand. I use kits alot but often change the colors. So I need extra yarn. I love DMC. Does not break. Easy to embroider with.

Pricey but perfect otherwise
Using it for embroidery and it's perfect. Just kinda expensive for how much wool you get imo. Wish there was more.

It's DMC! It's exactly what you expect from this company. Don't hesitate.
I bought this, and continue to buy this DMC cotton thread, for a very different reason than embroidery although i've used it for that purpose as well without problem. I could buy generic but I don't. I am using it because I am a newbie to the natural dyeing world, and I need a good white cotton base to mordant and practice color dyeing on. This is perfect for my failures without being too expensive. It uptakes color predictably; the failures are part of the learning process. But the thread performs as it should and it finishes without knotting or separating which is what I would expect from DMC. And when I do something "right," this thread turns out beautifully from beginning to end! So as a DMC product it is "thumbs up."

Great Colors, Can Be Separated Easily
I used this for my first real attempt at Swedish Dala Floda type embroidery, which is traditionally done with wool thread instead of cotton. It’s not exactly the type that’s supposed to be used (I think it’s called tuna wool?), but it was great for this project. It’s 4 strands of thread twisted into a thicker yarn, and for the smaller details I used only one or two strands. It was easy to pull apart, I just carefully untwisted the yarn first and wound the unused threads onto a spool or bobbin for later use, which made it a good value for the cost. It’s soft and gives my project the texture I was looking for. The colors were great, as you can see. After I was finished I hand washed the piece in hot water to give it a more felted look, but it actually shrunk less than I had hoped for, so I may try putting it in boiling water. And then iron it, of course (that’s my least favorite part of sewing!)

Lovely quality
Love the colors of this wool. It is rather thick for doing crewel but it covers the area nicely and works nicely with many stiches.
