So my two cents....good product...works well....but you have to remember some things...1. You have to let it set for 24 hours with 3m tape (provided)...if you don't and you start testing it before setting it....it's over....you will need to redo the tape with extras provided...I have used 3m tape before....Golden rule..patience...wait 24 hours...2. Some cabinets have small plastic stoppers so they close quietly....make sure you take those out...or lock will not make contact.3. This vendor needs to have a video to show how the template works....they are the only ones who provide this plastic template to make sure the locks allign....great idea...but had a hard time figuring it out....they do have a manual...but still could not figure out....4. 3 locks I had to redo because of bad alignment on my part....because I did not know how to use template...again....I know the template would have made my life much easier...I am sure most people figured it out...I might be the only one who couldn't...5. Basically all these vendors probably import this from China....from one factory....but the difference between this vendor and others is that they had the best price...the template....as well as manual.....so they went above and beyond the other vendors...Remember it's probably all the same locks marketed by different vendors......but you have to see what you get in regards to the "extras"..Also...received only 10...but ordered 12...again...I see lot of folks had the same issue...it's probably because they buy in bulk...and the repackage here in the states...and some employees probably miscount....so if they see this review...great send me two!..😁..If not...no big deal....the product works...5 stars!

Finally a company that cares what its users think! First off the product is top notch and works perfectly and is very easy to install. After I purchased the owner followed up to see how I liked the product. I informed them that it would be beneficial to include extra foam sticky pads (1 or 2) for each piece. They were very receptive and then gave me credit for the one lock that failed......I did not ask for the credit I was given to me since they stand behind their products.

My grandma recently moved in with me, and she has dementia. I can't even use the bathroom without her getting into trouble, like finding my kitchen knives, pulling out all her personal care items from the bathroom cabinets, throwing garbage in my cabinets, etc. So I quickly realized I need to "grandma" proof my house. The thing is she is smart and I know she could figure out how to undo some of the baby locks. Then I came across These. These work perfect for locking the cabinets. I have to admit, I screwed up the first one I installed, i couldn't figure out why the extra piece wasn't staying and the door wouldn't lock. After about 5 mins. At looking at the instructions, i found out that extra piece (the piece that you only get one) is to help for installation, and isn't suppose to stay on. But once I figured it out, it was a breeze to install. It locks perfect and even I can't open it. I hope this info helps for people who are looking to keep their loved ones safe that has dementia. Unfortunately it's hard trying to find things, like door locks, stove locks, and cabinet locks that they can't figure out how to by pass.

Only 2 stars because these locks are strong, sturdy, and do the job of locking cabinets and drawers nicely...if you DO NOT use the included plastic mounting guide. When I opened the package I thought, "Wow, this mounting guide really makes the install super easy"...this assumption was a mistake. The mounting guide sticks the lock and locking plate so close together that when the cabinet door closes, the locking mechanism does not go far enough to be engaged with the locking plate.So effectively, I have just installed 16 completely useless pieces of plastic that I spent $30 on. Now I have to rip the plates and locks off my cabinet frame, spend more time and money trying to find and buy replacement 3M PE Foam adhesive to reinstall these locks. This time, without the install guide.If you buy these, install them using your own eyesight and do not trust the design of their install guide.UPDATE: The CEO reached out to me and offered two possible solutions to make it right, which I thought was pretty stellar customer service. Even though I will still not use the plastic install guide, with their resolution, I am able to reinstall the locks. I am changing my rating to 4 stars based on their quick communication and commitment to me as a customer after the sale.

These locks have allowed us to let our 10 month old to crawl around the kitchen without fear of him getting into the cabinets or drawer.Pros:Extremely easy to install with the provided mounting template. When possible I would reach around from an open cabinet and slide the template up the inside of the back of the cabinet drawer I was wanting to secure in order to insure proper mounting depth of the top catch.Design is very smart in the fact that it includes an ability to make the latch stay permanently unlocked until switched back. Great for when you need to access cabinets frequently at times.Includes 2 magnets which are strong enough to make the release disengage prior to actually touching the cabinet.Cons:None besides I wish they were available in black or dark brown to better match my cabinets, but not really an issue since they are hidden except for when the cabinets get opened.
