Great product but I do wish it came with a little more plumbers tape. It leaks from the threads that open to replace the filter. I wrapped with the plumbers tape and that helps a lot but I didn’t have enough to wrap a couple more times and I think that would have really helped tremendously. As far as the water filtering itself; I have noticed my hair is softer, skin is softer, and the calcium build up on my body wash containers that happened within a couple showers is not gone and not building up anymore. So I will definitely be purchasing the refills.

I have been using this for just over 2 months now and have really noticed a difference in my skin and hair. For years my feet have been extremely dry and scaly no matter how much or what kind of moisturizer I tried. After 2 months of showering with this filter it has made a night and day difference. Without the use of any moisturizer, my feet are so smooth and soft now that I can’t wait to wear sandals this summer. My hair is also greatly improved in its softness and texture. Can’t say enough great things about this product. My partner has been having itchy scalp issues for a long time, going through all sorts of shampoos. Nothing worked. I bought it to improve the water quality at home and I don't regret it. Installs in less than 5 minutes without special tools. It helps a lot to soothe the irritation and itching in the body that heavy water usually leaves. So far it seems great. Hopeful it will help with my skin issue. All of a sudden seemed to get little bumps that would itch, especially in my torso area. Dermatologist said it was a common skin issue but I started to wonder if it was heavy metals in our city water. Skin & hair seem softer and it seems like my skin issue is improving. Only one month in so time will tell. Easy to install and affordable compared to many others out there. Water pressure is still great.

I had an old filter that made the water flow weaker. Removing that restored the strong water flow however i needed to filter out the chlorine content in my supply. Having been skeptical on this with the experience from the old filter, i tried it out. To my pleasant surprise it did not make my water flow weaker. This is excellent, for the chlorine filtering, will need some time to observe, but the water pressure alone is what makes this product excellent!

I have used this product twice only and I still noticed a massive difference already. I didn't realize how poor the water quality at home was until I installed this (didn't take more than 5-10 minutes. Update: 5 months later the smell of flouride in the water came back with the skin irritation this product help me cure. I have replaced the cartridge inside (super easy!) and I'm back to clean water again. Definitely no regrets here.
