Vox amPlug 3 Modern Bass Headphone Bass Amplifier w/ 2 Channels, Stereo Effects, Built-in Rhythms, and Aux in Jack

For the most part works as expected. I bought both the modern bass V3 and Boutique v3. And both have this issue when played high volume/tone/gain. The device will shut off. Changed to new batteries and did factory resets. And still have the same issue. Being able to use the device at half its volume/tone/gain makes me knock off 2 stars. Might just be a v3 issue not sure. UPDATE! tighten the output jacks ( where you plug in ) And issue is resolved! Fixed both my bass and my electric guitar issue with the vox modern bass and Boutique! 5 stars!

Other customers should know that the function for the bass effects and the drum loops share the same button. Thats the ONLY reason I rate it 4/5. 5 star sound and quality. Buy it.

Excellent item. Very nice unit.

I really wanted to love this device, but I ended up returning it. The black switched with black lettering on black background made it next to impossible to tell what settings I was changing. The real deal-breaker though was the hum/buzz - any time this was plugged in to my bass there was an electric hum that was quite irritating and ruined the sound. Since I was only going to use it while at home rather than on travel, the convenience and effects weren't nearly enough to make me want to use this - I'm going back to using headphones plugged in to my amp.

I so wanted to like this. It's cheaply made plastic, sounds just ok, and the various level knobs generate a static noise when moving them. Folks might want to spend a bit more for something of higher quality. I have a Fender unit on order. Oddly, the most satisfying aspect of this device is the solid click when rotating the input jack -- they NAILED that.

Sounds pretty good. Uses AAA batteries. Other improvements could be outlined text, controls moved to the other side. Uses a 3.5mm output jack. You'll need a male 3.5mm-to-1/4" female plug adapter to use this with a true bass amp. You can plug standard computer speakers (powered) or 3.5mm headphones into it and use it that way. There are better options out there.

Flawless as always, just remains to be seen if the jack stands the test of time, but so far better than amplug 2 and more sturdy.

Gute Alternative zum Verstärker. Betrieb wie beschrieben nur mit Kopfhörern.
