Balance has deterioated and need support around the house. the rails can only do so much to stop me falling. The issue I had is being 6ft 1", most walkers are to low and I end up with sore shoulders. I have taken it all over London and then to Amsterdam on cobble-stoney streets and recently to several more cobbly cities in Europe. It's taken quite a beating but keeps on ticking. One of the wheels is now misaligned but not the manufacturer's fault. I'm surprised the wheels haven't fallen off with what I've put it through. So nice to go to store and be able to put groceries in the basket and even hang bags from the handles. So great to have a seat to sit on on the crowded tube or in museums. The handles are fairly hard plastic so you do need some cushioning on the handles if you're going to be leaning on them like I have to.
