Organic Kidney Detox Tea - Matcha Green Tea, Cranberry, Lemon & Ginger
As a health-conscious individual, I am always on the lookout for products that can help me maintain a healthy lifestyle. That's why I was thrilled to discover the Organic Kidney Detox Tea. Packed with matcha green tea, cranberry, lemon, and ginger, this cleansing superfood drink offers a range of benefits that are hard to resist. One of the standout features of this detox tea is how easy it is to mix. Unlike other powders or supplements that clump together or leave a gritty residue, this tea effortlessly dissolves in hot water. This makes it incredibly convenient for those busy mornings when you need a quick pick-me-up. But what really sets this detox tea apart from others is its great taste. The combination of matcha green tea, cranberry, lemon, and ginger creates a refreshing and invigorating flavor profile that is both satisfying and delightful. It's not too overpowering or bitter like some detox drinks can be. Instead, it offers a pleasant balance of tartness and sweetness that leaves you wanting more. Aside from its taste, this organic energy drink boasts an impressive list of benefits. The matcha green tea provides a natural source of caffeine and antioxidants, giving you a sustained boost of energy without the crash associated with coffee or energy drinks. The cranberry helps support kidney health by flushing out toxins and preventing urinary tract infections. Meanwhile, the lemon and ginger aid in digestion and provide additional antioxidant properties.

Good value, matcha tea
I've added this to various drinks, and here are my thoughts: 1. Plain water. This is fine. It adds a bit of taste of all of the ingredients together except maybe cranberry. I got ginger notes (very obvious) the match tea earthiness, some lemon. It doesn't have any sugar or anything. Think of it as tea. 2. With water and plain whey protein powder. I figure I'd add sone caffeine and other health things to my protein powder routine. While not terrible, this combination is a bit odd, and I would not recommend. 3. Almond milk: not a great match. Just the lemon and tea with milk jus didn't quite work out well. 4. With other hydration mixes. These ones work out ok. I have other citrus based hydration powders, and this one combine well with those, adding a dosage of healthy ingredients. Overall I am happy with this purchase. You get 2 packs, of 30 servings each, representing a good value. Recommended.

Great ingredients. Taste is a bit odd
I mostly got this for the matcha and cranberry. Not really for the kidney detox aspect. But I suppose if it supports kidney function that is an added bonus. The pouches come with a little scoop inside, which is nice. That way I don't have to dig out another scoop from somewhere else in order to use this. It's easy to mix in with most drinks. It did require quite a bit of stirring to be mixed with kefir, but in most liquids I have not had a problem. It will settle after a while, so I either have to drink quickly or stir it up regularly. The first time, I ended up with a lot of sludge at the bottom when I finished, so I had to add more water so it didn't go to waste. The taste is interesting. I would say it tastes 'healthy' if that makes sense. It has sort of an earthy flavor and a bit of a tang. I am not a huge fan of the taste, but I also don't necessarily dislike it. It's just a bit strange.

Quality ingredients
You can smell - and taste the Matcha powder in this tea - it being the first ingredient listed, color and smell as well. The ingredients are certified organic and made here in the United states- which is always the way to go if you can! It is also non gmo, vegan, and gluten free too. I made it in tea and has a nice earthy taste and scent- dissolved easily which is a big plus. It may be strong for some so adding honey or a sweetener could be an option - this would easily blend/mix well in smoothies or juice. I do not add anything to my teas. I did enjoy what I drank and will continue to drink daily and see if I see any changes anything in my health. I would recommend adding this to your list of teas for taste and wellness!

No results
While I like the taste of each of the ingredients I cannot tell those ingredients are in this powder. It does not mix readily: the only way I get it to dissolve/mix reasonably well is by shaking in a sealed glass bottle of hot water. Most importantly I have not noticed any difference in how I feel, nor in my stool or urine.

Matcha Green Tea benefits are well known, but the kidney detox emphasis is odd
Matcha contains nutrients from the entire tea leaf including a high level of antioxidants. Its many benefits include the ability to protect the liver, promote heart health, boost brain function, and aid in weight loss. However, this product’s focus on kidney health seems odd. I assume this claim is due to the fact that it contains cranberry, generally accepted as assisting with kidney function. But unfortunately, there is NO information on the amount of cranberry powder in this product so it seems as though we are left to accept on good faith that it contains an effective amount. This lack of information on the label leaves me perplexed and underwhelmed. I’m less than enthusiastic about how this product is marketed and labeled.

NOT FOR "ALL" BEVERAGES
Oh man, this stuff is something else. My experiences with this drink additive have been aaaall over the place. My first experience with this was reading the back of the packaging, seeing that it claimed it could be mixed into "any" drink you like, and, thinking of it as matcha (ya know, because it's a powdered green tea), I mixed it into milk. It looked a little funny, and I couldn't quite tell if it smelled the way it was supposed to smell, but I dutifully powered through drinking about half a serving thinking that it's a health drink and it's not necessarily going to taste great, right? I then proceeded to spend the next half hour or so with my stomach gurgling and me in the bathroom regretting my decisions. This stuff... let's just say, it caused a *powerful* reaction from my body. That's when I read over the ingredients and found lemon. Lemon... which curdles milk. Just thinking about this is making me nauseous again, so you can imagine I had a very difficult time attempting to drink it a second time, in a non-dairy substance, to see how it is and write an effective review. To be honest, I had just about given up on it and was considering just throwing out both bags. And that's when I had a sudden health scare with pain occurring in my kidneys. And I immediately thought of this tea, sitting and collecting dust on a shelf in my kitchen. And, begrudgingly, I dragged myself into a second attempt at drinking it. I have now gone through about half a bag with plans to use it daily until the bag's empty. The other bag I'm admittedly considering giving away, but for a better reason than what would have previously inspired such a decision (I'm probably going to be recommending this product to a family friend who's about to start dialysis, and giving him a pouch to try). This stuff cleared whatever was happening in my kidneys right up. And it's not too bad! It's not my favorite, and it doesn't *really* taste like green tea (I'm a bit of a green tea AND matcha enthusiast), but it's palatable. Weirdly enough, it's kind of spicy? And it does have a habit of settling, so you have to keep mixing the drink almost every time you take a sip. It works in water, in iced tea, in juice and smoothies, etc. My favorite way to drink it is to take the included scoop (a nice touch) and dump a spoonful into a bottle of aloe vera. The jelly-like chunks of aloe help to mix up the powder, and having it in a bottle makes it easy enough to just give it a quick shake before I take a sip. So, I DO definitely wish that they were more specific in their suggestions of use, and gave some warning about how it might mix with dairy products. But it has also made me healthier and I might just keep drinking it, and am recommending it to friends. So. It's hard to let go of my grudge, but it's a good product if used correctly.
