Good adjustable support covering a wide range of sizes
This is a soft comfortable support but despite it being soft it can give firm support as you can adjust the above knee, below knee and on-knee strap to provide the precise level of support you seek. The material is a sort of neoprene, a bit like a wet suit, so it does stretch to a degree and is very flexible. It is also fairly insulating and warm. The open knee and silicone 'donut' allows your knee cap some flexibility to move. This has been used to support a slightly arthritic knee with some positive benefits. It measures 7.5" or 187mm high at its highest. The main full height part of the support is about 10" or 255mm long ie the circumference when worn and the straps extend a further approx 11" or 28cm beyond that and can be pulled and stretched around the main section and hold with velcro pads that seem quite effective.

Stays in place - mostly
I used this for Jiu-Jitsu and I'm impressed, much better than my existing knee support.I put this on for an hour before going to Jiu-Jitsu, walking around, going up and down stairs and driving. All this was great! the knee support stays in place and it was comfortable. At Jiu-Jitsu I only needed to adjust it very slightly a couple of times. Really good performance. After 90 minutes however, with the sweat and everything else the straps did start to cut in a bit and I've been left with a red mark to the back of my leg. This is entirely my own fault as 1) this doesn't claim to be suitable for a sport like BJJ and 2) I did saturate it with sweat which contributed, I guess, the rubbing. I'm going wear spats under it next time and I think that will solve the issue. If you want this for sport I would suggest wearing something under it.Great Product. Recommended.

Provides total support
I have been wearing this knee support straight from the box, In every way it does the job perfectly. The best feature is that it does not move once you have positioned the straps.Made from a neoprene with three straps, the centre strap I position first then the upper and lower.there is a centre hole which positions over the kneecap so you can strap up firmly, Its worth knowing that once in position it does not move so can be worn all day under your clothing or indeed for sporting activities. totally washable and the strapping will last for years. 5 Stars from me.

Secure fit, doesn't breathe too well.
This fits securely to the leg via the wrap around straps. I can't comment on using it for vigorous exercise, I have only tried it out for walking. I do regular challenge walks and a support like this helps with my aging knee joints which have been known to give out. It does get a bit sweaty quite quickly, I mean they all do this because it has to be strapped quite firmly to the leg but I just felt that this one got a bit sweaty a bit faster. The 2 main straps actually provide a firm fit and at no point did I feel like this was going to slip down. The thin back strap is a bit of a design anomaly. This does feel like it will cut into the back of the leg on a very long walk and I'm not even convinced it's necessary. All in all this is an average, no thrills knee support.

Seemed Ok to start
At less than £10 this knee support seemed initially to be good for an arthritic knee. However having worn it for a couple of days it has made the inside of my leg sore which has taken over from the original pain in my knee to the point where I don't know if it has actually worked at reducing the original pain. If their intention is to cause pain elsewhere to divert your attention away from the original pain then this works extremely well. I just need something now to deflect the pain that this knee support provides. Of course it could be how I have fitted it (too tight too loose etc) or the size of my leg etc so it may work perfectly for others.I am going to give it a try again in a couple of days and try and fit it so that whatever is causing the abrasion is removed/adjusted/covered.Edit - After reading my review the seller contacted me which they didn't have to do. Good customer service is hard to come by these days but my experience with this seller is very positive. It kind of takes the 'risk' out of buying from them.

Good at supporting the knee during activity.
I ordered this for my daughter who has been suffering from knee problems caused by an occasional build up of fluid in the knee, her old knee support needed replacing and I gave her this one to try. She found it easy to put on and to adjust the tightness using the velcro strap and it was very comfortable in use, but what made a big difference to her vs her older one was the side stabilizers that gave her good support. Due to her occupation it was being worn for a couple of hours at a time, she felt it performed very well and can see it being used for other activities such as dance. At under £13 this knee support brace is good value and performs well.

very supportive and comfortable, easy to put on. A bit sweaty, centre strap an issue (for me).
PROS-supportive and comfortable, patella ring seems to do the job-stays up, even when exercising vigorously (unless I get too sweaty)CONS-not as breathable as I’d hoped (and sweat causes it to slip down out of place)-I find that the thin centre strap cuts off my circulation a bit. I just wrap it on very lightly, as it doesn’t seem to do as much holding on to the leg as do the top and bottom straps (unless I strap it quite tightly, and then it cuts off circulation).NOTES-the lateral spring supports don’t seem to do much (for me).MY STAR RATINGS:1* substandard, mostly cons2** barely acceptable, cons outweigh the pros3*** meets the basic requirements, cons balance the pros4**** good product, pros outweigh the cons5***** exceptional, all (or almost all) pros

Compression Knee Brace
The brace is well made, easy to fit using the three velcro straps, and very comfortable to wear.I have a problematic right knee and like to take long walks along the north Cornish coastline. Usually the knee gives way at least once on these walks. With the brace fitted the knee held up well, even when I led with the right leg up some craggy steps. There was some sweating under the brace, but this is something I am happy to live with if the brace continues to provide the same support on every coastal walk!
