This really makes slicing onions faster and safer. I found I can also chop by first slicing through the guides, then leaving the tool in, rotating 90 degrees, and chopping, without having to monitor how close the knife is to my fingers.

No more risking life and limb just to slice onions!Sure...it's great for getting nice, uniform slices of virtually anything... But nothing beats being able to effortlessly slice my favourite edible without ANY fear!

This onion holder is interesting. It is functional, makes slicing a rounded object through the tines easy enough and cuts slices into similar sizes, is rather flat so does not take up a lot of room to store, and is nicely designed. I like the idea of it, but will it become a tool I remember to use as a must have gadget to improve my life? Possibly not. The very sharp needle pointed tines could be problematic if children, elderly, or careless people were using it. Highly recommend keeping the plastic cover to place back on those sharp tines, and be careful when doing so. Not super easy to line it all up without stabbing fingers.

This works so well makes it easy to slice things

I was hoping that this would really work and it does. I used a small sharp knife from a carving set. This is a time saver for chopping tomatoes and onions. It also works well in the dishwasher.

It may be me but this does not work well. It can misalign, making it hard to get even slices. I had used it, so didn't return, but just went back to Amazon and bought one of the more expensive slicers...anything to make onion cutting easier.This didn't work well for me at all. But gave it 3 stars because it is better than nothing, sort of.

I use this to slice many things—not just onions. Bery handy & easy to use.

This is great! I can make thin slices or dices without worrying about cutting myself with my sharp knives. Handy aid for us goobers!
