Graced and Gifted: Biblical Wisdom for the Homemaker's Heart Paperback – July 14, 2008

This is an awesome book! I love all the real life examples the author gives along with all the bible verses that go with each example. This will be one book that I will enjoy reading over and over! I am hoping to try a few of her other books as I am sure they are just as good!

I think the trouble with this book is that not everyone has the driven personality type of Kimberly Hahn. This book, like most studies based on Proverbs 31, contains a lot of potential guilt-inducing pitfalls. I would not have chosen this book but my Bible study decided to use it.The Catholic information is solid and contains good doctrine. It's an intensive study of a very small portion of Scripture, so don't expect a lot of Bible information here. The focus is on applying Proverbs 31 to the life of a wife and mother.

It's a great book. I recommend you read it with A Mothers Rule of Life, it's like the soul of the Rule. But Kimberly Hahn's books are great and this book is no different. It has a few practical suggestions but most of it is investingating the why. Yes, we do this because we love or family's but this book takes you deeper then the obviouse answer. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I gave this to my sister for her wedding. She had already read most of it before her wedding day. She really loves it. I would highly recommend this to any young Christian bride. As a single woman, I even gained a lot of great insights about keeping a house and home from this book. A surely enjoyable read for any woman.

Kimberly Hahn has done it again. This wonderful Bible Study for Women based on Proverbs 31 follows on the heels of Chosen and Cherished and brings the reader in the direction of home making as an act of love. This is so well written that you feel as though Kimberly was sitting with you and chatting over a cup of tea. I look forward to her next book!

Kimberly Hahn's books always make you feel so good after reading them. This book helps you see the value of your vocation as a homemaker. Modern society doesn't always value the work of a homemaker, but Kimberly Hahn makes you feel good about your choice and points out all the important work you do, within the home.

Really helpful for the first time mom, who has no guidance. I've re read this book many times and I'm sure I will be going back to it again and again.

A great read and a must for any married Christian woman. Kimberly Hahn really speaks to the heart of the role of the homemaker in God's kingdom.
