Great quality replacement for pool fill valve
Used this as a Fill valve for an in-ground pool. The toilet-float shut off valve types wore out very fast, this type looked sturdy, so I tried it. It works beautifully. It was a little noisy at first, when filling, but is silent now.

Defective Product Design
This product does not work! It does not shut off the water! I only found out after many attempts at installation in my outdoor fountain. Many attempts = first installation and breaking fittings to get product vertical; more trips to hardware store to get new plastic fittings and to adjust height; and fountain overflowing when I thought the product might work. About 3 hours of driving and sweating and frustration trying to get the product to work. And 3 weeks later, I can't return it!

Works well with only a hiccup!
Works as it should once i disassembled to pop the seal loose. Initial attempt to use water would not flow.

It worked right away, very easy to install. I have no concerns about this product so far. This product comes with different size of nuts to be installed. 1/2” , 3/4” , and 1” nuts adapters. I’m so happy with this product. I recommend it.

Better than the floating ball type of fill valves.
We love this thing. We went for years fighting with a valve in the base pool of our recirculating waterfall that was a ball on the end of a metal rod; it was always getting twisted or otherwise wonky and not filling when it should or filling when it shouldn’t. We’ve now changed out both that pool filler and a fountain filler valve in the front of the house. My husband was initially leery of this type of valve because it looked so different that he didn’t get how it worked, but now he loves it. He said it was easy to install and I love it because it just works. Any new replacement fill valve we need will be this one because of its near universal fit. Big thumbs up from us!

Doesn't actually work, cheap Chinese garbage
It doesn't actually fully stop the water flow. I have this running from my RO system, through a pressure regulator (.5mPa), to my coffee maker. The tank overflows. Total fail.

Patio fountain water level
The product meets expectations but I found difficult to attach it to my masonry patio fountain. If it is not properly attached the valve opening water flow will blow hose and valve out of the fountain. I am considering carefully screwing the holding bracket to the fountain wall. Perhaps the system is a little bulky and very visible for a patio fountain.
