Is this unit required to use with the anycubic 3d printers?

Accepted Answer

no, it is not required. Just pay attention to the size of the bucket that came with this machine and make sure your 3d printed models are not larger than the bucket. You should be fine if you use any of those small size resin printers like Elegoo Mars, Mars Pro, Mars Pro 2, Phorzen sonic mini.....just to name a few.

Question 2

Just purchased & love it. Can you keep the alcohol in the wash  bucket until it's time to clean/filter it out (keeping it away from sun/UV)?

Well I did just this and didn’t print anything for a few months.   When I went back to use it, something in the bottom of the agitator had rusted and covered my print with mess.  I’m assuming a bearing seal maybe?  Either way I’m now trying to see if I can get just the bucket.

Question 3

Mine spins the platform for a half second, stops, then starts constantly beeping. Anyone have this happen?

I ended up putting my thumb over the sensor to see if that was the problem, and it turned on without the lid. With the lid on, just beeps. Cardboard up against the lid to reduce incoming light and it worked fine. Just seems like an over sensitive sensor. I'll probably tape something to the lid to increase the light it blocks.

Question 4

Can you put the build plate from the anycubic photon mono x in it or do you need to take your work off the build plate and wash it separately?

There are 2 stations now advertised, the PLUS size will accommodate the larger Mono X build plate. I have both the X and the Plus and they do work together fine. I was critical when I bought the previous wash station because it wouldn't fit the X, and that was the upgraded model only a couple months old at the time.
