I have played a lot of corn hole, and I know good boards. Great boards are rigid but with a smooth finish.Rigid prevents the bags from bouncing.Smoothness allows the bags to slide - a great technique to get 3-pointers.The issue with wood boards is: they are very expensive and they chip over time.Now, these boards look great, which is why I bought them, along with the metal frame (won't chip), carrying case and nice black melamine finish tops. But the boards are super THIN melamine. They are nice and smooth, but very very thin and bouncy.Now the fix - get yourself some 1/2" - 3/4" plywood and some construction adhesive like Liquid Nails; cut the wood to fit underneath the melamine (allow for the legs). Also cut out the hole, and then glue the plywood to the bottom of the melamine. Hold the plywood down with weights while curing. See photos. Wait a day for drying. Also glue the wood edges to the metal frame.Now for under $100, you have nice looking boards that don't chip, with nice finishes and metal frames,nice rigid boards, and a carrying case!

I purchased these for a work event and they were a hit. For the boards AND the bags, this is a price you cannot beat. They hold up as well as wood cornhole boards.. but be aware: they are NOT made of wood! If you do not mind that, then these are great. You may also decorate them with paint markers.

When I got this, it already had a 3" crack in one of them. My husband threw one of the toss pads that came with the set on the other board to see if it would be worth sending the crack one back and getting another one and the whole thing bounced. Cheaply made. He said send it back, that it would never handle a game with adults playing. Maybe little kids. I liked the idea. It's light to carry and nice looking, but the material is just not strong enough.

It's functional and portable and for those reasons I was pleased. It's a tad bit flimsy and makes a terrible racket when the bean bags fall on the board (like REALLY loud) - but it's worth the trade off to be able to pack it easily and take it places.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and it's been used so many times. I agree with some of the other review that it is quite a bit louder than a wooden set, but for the price this is perfect. It's so easy to carry and so much less expensive than other sets. I did order some actual corn bags from Etsy because I wanted to get team logos on them so I can't vouch for the bags at all.

This is officially the worst purchase I've made this year. It claims to be "Cornhole Set" but is nothing more than cotton bags filled with some sand (a real Cornhole game would have corn kernels in the bags). When you throw the sand bags, a puff of sand comes out every time it lands on the board --- thereby getting sand dust on the black board. And speaking of the board, it's very cheaply made and it creates a VERY LOUD thud every time a bag hits the board. This happens on either a hard surface or grass (no difference). In short, this is a poorly made product and I'm returning it.

The whole thing is pretty flimsy-wish I'd spent a bit more and gotten wood. This scratched heck out of a floor and was cracked the first time we used it. NOT a good deal. Couldn't return it, because I trashed the box.

It was much better quality than I expected for the price.I'm using the games for a corporate pool party.I'm not sure they will hold up after 140 people play.I had 12" x 12" custom labels made with our company logo for all of the boards.Our logo colors are black and fuchsia so I ordered pink and black bags.I'm sure the game will be a big hit with our attendees.

When you want to transport a game when camping or visiting, this works very well. Nice and compact.

This arrived in a timely manner in time for Christmas, it was a gift for my daughter and her boyfriend. After unpacking it I realized quickly how cheaply it was made. It state’s aluminum frame which is accurate but it’s so flimsy there was no strength to it. The board itself is 1/8” MDF which is poorly fastened to the frame and is not adequate to absorb any impact. The noise on impact was so loud that it was annoying. I packed it back up immediately and returned it. I have decided to make one instead.

$100 for this item is ridiculous. The bean bags are full of powder that shakes out when the bag hits the black surface, I would say the cost of producing this item is less than $10. Dean Kemp

I have just ordered and received this item and I have to say my package did have corn bags included, which made it a very good buy. Just disappointed, as I have just ordered extra now.
