I didn't realize how long I have been taking this supplement but it is absolutely a self-care staple. I experience all of the benefits pantothenic acid is known for without any issues whatsoever. My "withdrawal" from taking B5 is feeling fatigued again but within days after I go back to taking it, I feel good as new.

My holistic brother put me on to these when I started getting regular pains in my back in the region of my kidneys. I didn’t have a UTI or kidney infection, and the doctor didn’t find anything concerning in my bloodwork. So he suggested these for adrenal fatigue. I don’t take them every day; I just take one when I start to get those telltale pains in my back or one every 3 to 4 days, if I want to be proactive. And it makes the pain go away. I don’t recommend this as any kind of medical commentary or any kind of medical advice that should be taken by anyone. You absolutely should check with a doctor and have serious health conditions ruled out. And if you take that step like I did and still have issues, then perhaps you can try this for the same complaint.

This supplement is a must if you have adrenal gland imbalances. People who say they don’t notice a difference is probably because the vitamin is an adaptation. If you don’t need it, it isn’t going to be noticeable. Hormones are a complex system in the body. This vitamin supplies natural cortisol. We couldn't live without vitamin B5, our Adrenals would fail. You don’t need to speak with your doctor about something naturally occurring in the body through food. A lot of people confuse nutrition requirements and doctors orders as standards to live by because they think doctors know about supplements. Some do, however it is not common to learn about in med school. If you need more advice on any supplements, you should contact a naturopath. I learned of the case that high-dose B5 is useful for excessively oily skin conditions from several newsgroups way back in the 90s, when ISPs used to include them with internet service (alt.skin one I think). A gentleman from China originated the newsgroup thread and many others joined in, suggesting the ubiquity of the issue that is inadequately addressed by conventional MDs (Accutane is hard to get a prescription for so people look for OTC alternatives). This product does indeed seem to retard greasy skin condition, just take care to start with small initial doses and work your way up. Capsules can be opened and blended into smoothies or beverages.

Good quality vitamins.

The dose is extremely high compared to the recommended allowance. Every time I took it, it made me stay up. I did feel more energy though.
